If I could choose any 00s song to be reduced to 59p and make comeback in the official top 40, I'd either choose 'Dirrty', 'Big Girls Don't Cry' or 'All the Things She Said'. ^_^

Tyler James up to 44 now. Amazing what a little radio play can do.

And a 59p reduction in price

Fall Out Boy down to 3 now. I imagine this will disappear down the top 10 until radio play kicks in.

Hopefully it stays Top 10 for Sunday's Top 40, which is probably likely a dead cert now. I'm pleased how it's held up though, thought it would of plummeted by now.

It was on pre-order at the time of when i made the post.

I thought you don't have iTunes on your computer. :P

I think you misread it or it was just an error on iTunes. Sometimes it does happen, some songs are shown as 59p but they are are already put back to 99p.

Yeah let's have more shite old songs in the charts - that will help the music industry.

I don't see why one week in the chart would hurt? It's always nice to freshen up the chart. It's going to be incredibly stale this week. All 59p songs will obviously plummet next week, but I do enjoy hearing some old gems in the chart.

23. The Fray - How To Save A Life

25. Matrix & Futurebound - Magnetic Eyes (59p Now)

28. Nickleback - How You Remind Me

32. Eminem & Rihanna - Love The Way You Lie

33. Maroon 5 - She Will Be Loved

54. Zedd Feat Foxes - Clarity :cheer:

82. Taylor Swift - Love Story (This has been 59p for the last 3months, it's always remained top 200, wouldn't surprise me if it got around 30,000+ from this)

83. Coldplay - Fix You

84. Pink - Just Give Me A Reason

109. Ke$ha - C'mon

132. Nelly - Dilemma

148. Marina & The Diamonds - How To Be A Heartbreaker.

210. Olly Murs - Army Of Two

P!nk is fairly climbing up now :cheer: video doing its job then.
FOB are still miles ahead of #4 so I can see them staying top 5 on Sunday. Not really clicked with me yet but great to have them back regardless, if a little odd given how comparatively poorly MCR are doing.
So weird to think that 'Love the Way You Lie' is nearly 3-years-old. :o It really doesn't feel that long ago since it was released. I guess it's exactly 3 years since 'Starstrukk' and 'Fireflies' were massive and they seem pretty old.

seems a strange analogy thinking that MCR have to be doing the same as FOB considering I'd say both bands are quite different and attract a different audience. I could use the buzzword "emo" but I would describe both as probably alternative rock rather than pop-punk which FOB were until Infinity On High and MCR have practically been most of their career rather than the "emo" tag which is lazy and reminds me of the "nu metal" tag that was used to group bands like Linkin Park, Limp Bizkit etc in the early 2000s

Lazy or not, both bands a still lumped together so it's a fair point of comparison. It's the same principle as Blur and Oasis, they were different in many ways but still got put under the same "Britpop" umbrella.

Fireflies and Starstrukk probably seem a lot older because those songs were floating around in 2009 (especially Fireflies). Love the Way You Lie literally only leaked 2 weeks before it got into the charts.

Does anybody remember the original version of Starsrukk? It would've flopped with the original instrumental, it sounded like the music from the old Mario games.

Oh I didn't realise 'Explosions' was 59p again, that's disappointing. I thought it was this high at 99p, but I suppose as long as it goes top 20 and sticks around a fair bit, I won't mind what price it does that at.

I think Fall Out Boy have a very good chance of top 5 if they were already there by Wednesday. They do still have a lead over #4 and I imagine they'll have climbed to 3/4 in time for the Friday mids, they'll fall away at the weekend but they'd need to fall back quite a lot to drop out of the top 5 for the week. They definitely have their second highest peaking single in the bag now anyway which is rather incredible.

Justin Timberlake back up to #13, it would have been nice if he spent more than one week top 10 to begin with but he seems to be holding up fairly well now at least.

 70. Bukhaar - Nafees

Songs like this enter the top 100 on iTunes fairly regularly but yet to see one go top 100 officially.

 79. Just Give Me a Reason - P!nk

 97. Perfect Replacement - Example

:o Wasn't expecting this to go top 100 at all, Example keeps raking in the minor successes this era (album longevity around the 60s, 'Close Enemies' re-entering the top 100 and now this).

In fairness was people really expecting Close Enemies to do well? If Perfect Replacement was released as the second instead I think this era could of been a bit more of a success for Example.

One Example song I think could've been massive in the charts with more promotion was Natural Disaster (and Game Over :kink:).

Dear lord. Pablo's sig get's WORSE!?

13. Suit & Tie (feat. JAY Z) - Justin Timberlake

32. Wild for the Night (feat. Skrillex & Birdy Nam Nam) - A$AP Rocky

43. When I Was Your Man - Bruno Mars

45. Worry About You - Tyler James :cheer:

56. F**kin' Problems (feat. Drake, 2 Chainz & Kendrick Lamar) - A$AP Rocky

Err, it will because it creates more sales for the music industry.
