Actually, all of us aside from Gezza do get paid. Just don't tell him.

Damn you! :D

I'll do accept cheques.

Especially when they'll have to try & overtake Gabrielle Aplin too...

Never going to happen!

I did initially think Gabrielle Aplin would be a #1 contender, but there's been no buzz around it at all. Such a shame. :(

However, I am definitely rooting for Avicii. That track is an ANTHEM!

I hope Gabrielle can go top 10, her EP pre-order has been doing really well for the last 3 months on iTunes - nearly always in the top 100 on the albums chart. She's been B-listed on Radio 1 too, I've seen the video on TV a few times and she also has a CD single on her website too - hopefully it will all be enough!

I think it'll be enough to make a solid #7 hit.

As much as I adore both tracks from Gabrielle Aplin and Avicii, I'm rooting for Avicii to get #1 next week if it's at all possible.

Macklemore will probably have a similar run to 'We Found Love' in going 01-02-02-01 (or even 01-03-02-01) - kept off the top by Avicii and most likely One Direction the following week, then reclaim the top spot the week after. Unless Emeli Sande gets a Brit Awards performance boost. I don't think Wiley's new single will have what it takes to get to #1.

Justin Timberlake is performing at the BRITS this year! Hopefully 'Suit & Tie' can get a boost back inside the top 10

I think the #1s will go...

Avicii vs Nicky Romero - I Could Be The One

Either Macklemore/Avicii again or One Direction - One Way Or Another [i think Macklemore may re-gain tbh]

Macklemore & Ryan Lewis - Thrift Shop

Macklemore & Ryan Lewis - Thrift Shop

Nicole Scherzinger - Boomerang (or maybe Macklemore if it's still popular then)

The Saturdays feat Sean Paul - What About Us

I just think Avicii is going to peak at #2, with Thrift Shop getting a second week.

Week after OneD and the Thrift Shop back to #1 for another 2-3wks.

Unless something else pops out of the woodwork.

Really? I'll be very surprised if this is a UK #1. Screams #9 to me.

I think it could make it if it's a REALLY slack week, but realistically I see it pretty much mirroring 'All Fired Up's chart performance.

One can always hope...it should go higher than #7 since this single has a lot more airplay than the last one. And it should at least be the highest new entry that week (until someone big announces a new single release).

The way these OA/OS releases are going who knows what new singles will be getting released in 5 weeks time. If anything, I'd say 'White Noise' has a better chance of doing a 'We Are Young' and climbing to no. 1 in its sixth week on the chart than The Saturdays entering there.

I'll probably be proved completely wrong in the end. :D

I still fully expect to see acts like Kylie Minogue, U2, Kings Of Leon and Katy B to get the OA/OS treatment. Whenever they release their new singles, they will be released with a music video around the same time as they go to radio.

The Saturdays would have done better if they collaborated with Flo Rida instead of Sean Paul.

They already have on Higher. But personally, I find the Sean Paul feature awful. I would have preferred the UK version to be solo as well with Sean Paul as a remix like in USA.

Yeah, because collaborating with Flo Rida guarantees you a #1, as seen with "Higher" scraping the top 10 -_-

I'd be very surprised if the Sats go to #1, or even top 3. I think #5 or #6. Avicii or Macklemore should be #1 next week, followed by Macklemore (really hoping 1D don't get #1, I don't think they will do, as LWWY has shown a 1D OA/OS release does not equal instant #1) We'll probably get a OA/OS release going to #1 soon after Macklemore spends 2-3 weeks there. Kylie Minogue may now get a #1 as she's now with Roc Nation :o Maybe Jay-Z will guest rap on her new song.

I'm probably just being way too optimistic but I wouldn't be shocked to see What About Us be their first #1. But in a way it's better if it peaks at #3 or #4, because it would probably be the biggest non #1 in a while

What About Us won't go to #1. It's had good TV airplay but the poor amount of radio airplay (from my experience) has guaranteed that What About Us won't go to #1.
