Suppose it depends what is pop. Obv The Saturdays wouldnt be on it as they are manufactured but there are artists no-one would have heard of (from the evening shows) that make pop songs. I remember Aloe Blacc I need a Dollar started on the Upfront list. These are the types who get on the list. CC might too as they arent known that well yet!

Think these will be on this week:

Capital Cities "Safe & Sound"

CHVRCHES "The Mother We Share"

Haim "The Wire"

Alex Metric & Jacques Lu Cont ft. Malin "Safe With You"

Mutya Keisha Siobhan "Flatline" (I say this every week...)

The Strypes "What A Shame"

and some outsiders...

Birdy "Wings (Not a Little Mix cover, I've actually started to make my own songs rather than lazily ruin indie songs) [HeartFM/vidcapper no rap Edit]"

The Naked And Famous "Hearts Like Ours"

Flo-Rida ft. Pitbull "Can't Believe It"

I would love The Styrpes to get added!!

'Thrift Shop' was first added to the INMWT list IIRC. Also La Roux's 'In For The Kill'.

Yeah, I meant the Saturdays/Wanted kinda pop that wouldn't be added to the INMWT list. In For The Kill or Thrift Shop aren't the same kind of pop as that. Tbh I'm not really sure where Capital Cities fits in, it is pop but maybe it is edgy enough to be added to the INMWT list. Anyway the point is, it's a good song and they should play it on Radio 1!

I think this week's additions will be:

CHVRCHES - The Mother We Share

Drake (ft. Majid Jordan) - Hold On, We're Going Home

Half Moon Run - She Wants to Know

Jagwar Ma - Come Save Me

Jason Derulo (ft. 2 Chainz) - Talk Dirty

Sub Focus (ft. Kele) - Turn It Around

Tom Odell - Grow Old With Me

The Orwells - Who Needs You

OH THE IRRELEVANCE!

Who?

They're a punk/garage-rock band. Their new song seems to be getting some decent R1 support lately, could have an outside shot of getting on there :D

Who do we think will make the new playlist later today? I think these are pretty much guaranteed:

Daft Punk – Lose Yourself To Dance

Sub Focus feat. Kele – Turn It Around

Haim – The Wire

Avicii – You Make Me

Eminem – Berzerk

These could be in with a shot:

Panic At The Disco - This Is Gospel

Mutya Keisha Siobhan – Flatline (last chance, although I actually doubt they'll add them now)

Capital Cities – Safe & Sound (still hopeful they'll add this)

Probably too early yet for The Saturdays / Conor Maynard / Chase & Status / Two Door Cinema Club, but I'm sure they'll all be added next week or the week after.

Chase and Status should get on the c list at least as its Sara Cox's big thing on her show

I'm not sure about Daft Punk getting added and I would be surprised if Eminem got playlisted especially if its being an OAOS given that they only put Supersoaker on after it charted!

I want them to add MKS but I've resigned myself to the fact that it will get snubbed because it won't appeal to their target audience and will probably flop when its released which is a real shame

Nah, they'll add Daft Punk for sure! But yeah maybe you're right about Eminem, they do tend to take their time adding OA/OS releases.

I think it might have been last Wednesday

I think they will add Two Door Cinema Club as its out in 4 weeks and they always alist them!
I think Armin Van Buuren's Beautiful Life has got a good chance of being playlisted this week. This Is What It Feels Like did well, so can't see why they'd snub the follow up.
Hopefully, he is one of those hit and miss artists on radio!

Predictions for this afternoon's playlist? I'm going for:

You Me At Six - Lived A Lie (inevitable that they'll add this, not sure if they'll wait a week though like they sometimes do with OA/OS releases)

Daft Punk - Lose Yourself To Dance (would be surprised if they didn't playlist this)

Conor Maynard - R U Crazy (although they might wait another week before adding this)

The Saturdays - Disco Love (again, might be a week to early yet)

Foxes - Youth

John Newman - Cheating

Not really sure what's going on with Avicii and Armin, thought they'd both be on the playlist by now, if they're not being snubbed then maybe their release dates have been pushed back.

Can't really see much else on the schedule for them to add, although no doubt they'll make a few random additions!

Really want them to playlist Capital Cities but I've given up hope now.

Good call for Same Love, surely they HAVE to add it this week!

Sub Focus was added last week I think?
