I'd put money on that Icona Pop WON'T be playlisted, at least not yet anyway. I think they'll ignore it for some reason.

I do hope they add Pink though, surprised its not been playlisted yet.

I'm pretty sure they will add Mirrors, they seem to be playing it often enough anyway. Also. they dropped Suit and Tie last week.

If they do add it, I think it will go straight to B-list like Suit & Tie did.

Yeah Mirrors will be added to the b/a list hopefully, great track.

mango's list looks pretty accurate. Id say the killers will be dropped for this era as they are quite an 'old' act as well. They also didnt support the third single which was rather rush released in mid december even though radio 2 played it!!

Heres my list -

Alist - Justin Timberlake - Mirrors (18/3 impact)

blist - Pink (18/3 impact)

clist - Everything Everything - Duet 25/3 impact

The Strokes (25/3 impact)

Tom Odell (31/3)

Frightened Rabbit (18/3 impact)

Haim - Falling (1/4 impact)

Imagine Dragons - Its Time (1/4 impact)

Taylor Swift - 22 (1/4 impact)

Possible - Calvin Harris/Ellie Goulding

Paloma Faith - Balck and Blue

Imagine Dragons getting playlisted would be LOVELY. Hopefully that'll be as big as I'm thinking it will be. (i.e. a slightly lesser 'We Are Young' by fun. - but if it manages to out do WAY, that'd be a bonus!)

You really think Mirros will go straight to A-list? That hasn't happened for over a year!

I think it's too early for them to add anything with a 1/4 impact date, so maybe not even Haim. Pretty sure they'll snub Paloma as they didn't playlist her last single. Is The Strokes single definitely out on the 25/3? In that case they should add that.

1/4 is about the right time for this week. Especially as the playlist doesn't take effect until Monday. 4 weeks is the average time it takes for a song to move up a playlist. C-B-B-A(Release Week) is probably the most common movement.
I want Caro Emerald to be playlisted, but I doubt it :(

Has it not? What was the last song to be added to the alist?

Is Paloma's new single a brand new releases? Thats why i thought it might or is it yet another re-release??

The Strokes is already out on itunes with the pre-order offer i said 25/3 as an impact date because the albums out then. Hope radio 1 playlist it this week.

Does anyone else think we should make the actual playlist a continuous topic like this so we can all look back at the old playlists?

I dunno, the number of weeks ahead of release they add songs to the playlist seems to be varying it a bit more now, it seems to be commonly 3 or 4 weeks but sometimes even 5 weeks ahead of release, so who knows!

Last song to be added straight to the A-list was Bangarang by Skrillex, that was last January.

Paloma's single is off her last album so it's not a new era for her, which is why I don't think they'll add it.

I haven't heard the Strokes single yet, is it any good?

And yeah I was thinking the exact same thing about making the playlist a continuous topic :)

New playlist is up! They've added Pink :D

Mirrors straight to B-list as expected, but surprised that 1D and Paramore have stalled on the B-list.

No Strokes (yet) and no Icona Pop!

Like S&T Mirrors goes straight to B-list... but unlike the other song... this one will rise to A-list next week and be a bigger hit (it is already now... so..)

The strokes new record is really good shocked they seem to be ignoring them for the first time ever?! Thought 1d might stall in blist until the week before red nose Friday!

New playlist will be up in a few hours, what do we think will make it this week?

I think the new additions will be:

AlunaGeorge - Attracting Flies

Haim - Falling

Tom Odell - Hold Me

Ben Howard - Keep Your Head Up (why is he re-releasing this?!)

Imagine Dragons - It's Time

Lucy Rose - Shiver

Angel - The World

Possibly The Killers and Justin Bieber but unlikely.

It seems there's not much in the way of pop being released in the new few weeks.

Moving up to A-list: Alt-J, Justin Timberlake, The 1975, The Saturdays, The Vaccines.

Moving up to B-list: Biffy Clyro, Duke Dumont, Everything Everything, Pink, Taylor Swift.

Moving up to C-list: Swim Deep, Mikill Pane.

Doesn't seem like the most exciting week for new additions but let's see!

Tom Odell is surely a good shout - they've been playing it plenty already. AlunaGeorge supposedly due out this Sunday - and I imagine it'll be a decent T40 entry, so hopefully they playlist that. Imagine Dragons get my vote too!

When you say "The Killers"... do you mean their song 'Flesh & Bone'? Or are they releasing another track instead? (I hope this is added, either way!)

Yeah, Flesh & Bone. I'd love them to playlist it but I doubt they will :(
