Posted February 23, 201312 yr Recently so many iTunes Charts were added, and you can buy songs off iTunes in bucketload of different countries. And to me it got really interesting to watch some random country charts and see what's popular there right now. Besides, many of those countries don't have decent official charts, so that will represent them that way too. I'll be posting screenshots of some random iTunes charts in this thread and see how it will turn out. If you wish to bring the other iTunes chart here - feel free to do it in the format that in which you are comfortable to post them. If there is a similar thread somewhere then SORRY! Feel free to merge etc. Edited February 23, 201312 yr by Arrs

February 23, 201312 yr Regarding Belarus - 2 fake versions of Lana Del Rey's "Ride" in the Top 25?! Edited February 23, 201312 yr by SevenSeize
February 23, 201312 yr Surprised to see Nelly Furtado #1 in Belarus. I saw the video earlier in the week on YouTube (through another video) and I'm surprised it's not taken off. It just seems like a big hit in waiting. :o Also 'The Winner Takes It All' by ABBA top 20. Fresh new music in Belarus!!! :heehee:
February 23, 201312 yr I remember there used to be a thread like this, but that was a couple of years ago now. I agree, it's interesting to see other countries charts. It's also good for seeing potential future hits in the UK, I first found out about the 3 biggest-selling songs of 2012 because they were doing well in other countries iTunes. However, some of the newly-added countries probably don't have many iTunes users. In Belarus you need 2 sales to get to #1 on iTunes atm. Nelly Furtado and Alexandrow Ensemble have currently sold 2 copies each (and are now the top 2), and the other 98 songs in the top 100 have sole one copy each (you can tell this looking at LivePopBars). Explode and Lick Ya Down by Cover Drive are #12 and #13 there atm though! :D Edited February 23, 201312 yr by Eric_Blob
February 24, 201312 yr Author Ummmm, Livepopbars are already working for the newly added charts? Nice, really nice. Seems like Ukraine is the same as Belarus  With two sales in to the each of the top-3 and one for the rest. So this is kind of irrelevant. :( Russia however generates quite a lot of sales where the step is about 0.6% which means about 170 sales per day. The reason for that is probably that I think about 95% of ex-USSR sales go from Moscow and Saint Petersburg with both of them being in Russia. I even saw an ad of iTunes store in some of the paying terminals (I'm in St.-Petes)!

February 25, 201312 yr :o at James Arthur being a worldwide smash! Great to see Baauer still doing well too, if only he was #1 in the UK too instead of falling down to #8
