They've not covered this, have they?! (this should've smashed summer 2010 incidentally).

Am I the only one finding this "eat slugs" thing utterly hilarious!

No, it is not. Which is why I have put it in my signature in the hope that it will never be mentioned from now on. :D

I know right. <_< Crying because you're single went in at "only" #3 is absolutely pathetic. They really do deserve to flop with that attitude.

I agree. But a lot of this forum have the same attitude "OMG!! So-and-so's single missed the top 10, their career is OVER. blah blah blah". Even when a One Direction song missed #1 a while ago people were saying that.

There's plenty of people out there making a living off music without touching the top 200 in the charts, and they're very content with their success and have a lot of fans. Even many of the artists now in the charts have been doing that at some point in their career. Some people are very lucky to manage mainstream success for a while.

Griff, F*ck off and stop ruining everything :D

11. Ellie Goulding - Explosions

13. Wiley Feat Chip - Reload

18. Olly Murs - Army Of Two

24. Paramore - Now (Dropping Already)

33. Laura Mvula - Green Garden

Veryyy happy with Mirrors still being #1 on iTunes, even if it doesn't make it officially next week. Massive album sales for JT, can see it being one of the biggest albums of the year.

How people think David Bowie's 'The Stars (Are Out Tonight) will do when it's released on Tuesday?

How far do you think it will get on iTunes, Top5?

Bastille #4

Looks like Justin Timberlake for #1, unless OneD get a second week.

And other people in this thread really are an embarrassment to Little Mix fans like myself.[/size]

I wasn't speaking as a Little Mix fan trying to pit the groups up against each other. I'm really indifferent about either group. I was saying, from an objective view point, that a certain group highlights the flaws of another IMO.

You speak sense Eric. :D I hate how a #10 single is a hit yet a #11 single is a flop/underperformance in some people's eyes. Someone claimed on DS that 'Change Your Life' has really underperformed. The thing is, some are too ignorant to realise that it was a post-album single and therefore had less chance of breaking into the top 10. I bet if it peaked three places higher at #9, it'd be called a success.

No... :)

Looks like Michael Buble and David Bowie will got on air on sale hits during the course of the week. In a dream world Caro Emerald would too but I'll be realistic...
'Army of Two' #16 now :) Dido 'No Freedom' is #109 (which I downloaded today, incidentally.)

NF seems to have slowed down. Was expecting a top 100 scrape seeing as it definitely won't get top 40 now.

'Army of Two' #16 now :)

With a move up 34-02 (!) on the radio airplay chart, it's no surprise to see this picking up!

I can't help but think with the decent airplay Dido has had, she should have comfortably been top 100 this week.
To be fair, most of Dido's airplay at the moment probably comes from adult contemporary stations like Radio 2, which usually doesn't have much of an impact on the singles chart, more the album chart.
