Little Mix have confirmed that How Ya Doin'? will be the 4th single released from their debut album 'DNA'! As Liam has just mentioned in the album thread, Little Mix are preparing a big surprise for the upcoming release of the song.

From Digital Spy:

"It was tricky with 'Change Your Life' because a lot of fans already had it from the album," Jade Thirlwall told Digital Spy ahead of their acoustic session for Spotify.

"It's hard to push songs that have been available to buy for months already, whereas 'How Ya Doin'?" is a bit different."

Asked if they had altered the song for its single release, Jesy Nelson teased: "You'll have to wait and see - there's definitely a big surprise coming. Be prepared!"

I wonder what a "big" surprise could be, a collaboration possibly? Even though this is one of my least favourites on the album, watching tour videos I think they really bring it alive when performing it so I am kinda excited about this now.

Maybe they are finally do that collaboration with Tulisa they have always talked about!
I think this is bound to be a rap collaboration. I'd say there's a 95% chance it's a guy and one of his lyrics asks why they won't pick up the phone.

Really growing to like the song (shock horror) now it's been announced as a single. It does need bringing right up to date though. Hopefully whatever they have in store for the "single mix" or whatever, will do just that. There is definitely room for it to be improved!

The EP would be amazing if it was 01. 'How Ya Doin'?' (feat. whoever), 02. 'How Ya Doin'?' (Album Version), 03. 'How Ya Doin'?' (Live Acoustic Version). (We never get B-Sides anymore, so there's no point in wishing for one -_-

I dread to think how bad LM b-sides would be, considering half the album is sht.
Probably... but I'll keep everything crossed they don't.

Why not? What's so bad about rappers?

I think it's because 95% of the time the rapper adds nothing to the song and it just seems pointless to add a random rapper on there just to add some extra sales. For me, 'Worry About You' by Tyler James was actually made worse by Kano and the 'Next to Me' remix with Kendrick Lamar is just completely unnecessary. There are some exceptions though as I do prefer the Kanye West version of 'ET'.

Also, when they say surprise, it will be a bit of an anti-climax when all they'll have done is add a random rapper on it. It'll be more exciting if they add a new singer to it or create a new version.

I am glad they are doing a fourth single from the album, it helps push album sales.

Yep, exactly this. I have nothing against rappers themselves and if songs are designed that way they usually work very well and sound great, and sometimes an added rap can compliment the original song, but most of the time it just sounds crap and quite choppy in the song, it's just seems like it's a fad, just the latest trend to have a rapper added rather than it being there to actually improve the song. However, it's not always the case.

NO :(

Maybe one of them will perform a rap? :)

Hopefully Jesy. Leigh-Anne's a bit hopeless at that.
