1 The Saturdays - What About Us (feat. Sean Paul) 1.0000

2 One Direction - One Way or Another (Teenage Kicks) 0.8125

Kworb just swaps the values for the two positions when one song overtakes the other, it's not actually that far ahead. If 1D re-overtook right now, it'd say that The Sats are on 0.8125 too. ^_^

I saw (2 of) that Reconnected group when they performed at my school a couple of months ago. They were 'ok' and a lot of the girls were just crazy about them.

Needless to say, when I and another teacher began dancing at the back of the room, half the audience were watching us instead.

Can people stop saying that the Saturdays 'need' a no.1? What for? To validate their existence? Lots of legendary acts hit that status without hitting the top spot once. I stick by my 911 comparison from last week.

Who?

I do hope this is finally their number one single. It's not their best song. But I feel like this is their last chance.

THIS IS SO AMAZING!

I can't believe how fast they're increasing on Kworb :o

Time to get the champers out Rochelle! (This time she won't have to put it away after 30 minutes hopefully)

It's pretty amazing how a pop group are looking to finally hit their peak in relevancy five years into their career. :o
Who?

Depeche Mode? Bon Jovi? :P

Who?

50 Cent never got a UK #1. Neither has Gwen Stefani I think.

And I'm sure there's absolutely loads from previous decades.

Depeche Mode? Bon Jovi? :P

Are we really comparing a UK pop group in 2013 to two worldwide bands from the 80's?

I'd think you'll find that it was very relevant to what he was talking about.

Depeche Mode and Bon Jovi are legendary bands, which shows not going to #1 doesn't mean that you're not a legendary band, so The Saturdays have nothing to worry about in that aspect.

This thread is gonna be FUN this week :D

He was just saying that there's loads of artists bigger than The Saturdays who never had a #1.

Can you stop attempting to talk down to other members, you're far worse than 99.9% of The Saturdays loons :D

The Saturdays always seemed scared of losing relevancy by having a few months off where they weren't releasing a new single but I actually think that the gap between '30 Days' and 'What About Us' has given them a new momentum.
Who?

Bon Jovi, Depeche Mode, Janet Jackson, Amy Winehouse to name just 4.

A few acts who have debatable legendary status but are well regarded but still haven't hit no.1 include Travis, Dido, Anastacia, 50 Cent, Gwen Stefani (solo) and many others.

Unlike the Saturdays and their loons, most people realise no.1 isn't everything. I mean, Leon Jackson has one.

Everyone's trying to make up reasons why they are #1.

I think it comes down to a decent song!!

loads of people I know Hate The Saturdays but seem to like WAU..Probably because it's slightly less gimmicky.

Can you stop attempting to talk down to other members, you're far worse than 99.9% of The Saturdays loons :D

I always though that, but after reading parts of this thread (I'd rather kill myself than read it all) he most certainly isn't.

Tell everyone else who was trying to explain that to him. :D
