April 28, 201411 yr Sheezus (Album Rank... So Far)! Somewhere Only We Know - 8/10 - beautiful, classy cover, really winter classic although has worn quite thin recently. Hard Out Here - 10/10 - absolute PERFECTION :wub: I love her sass and really think it's one of her best. Air Balloon - 8.5/10 - quirky and catchy, can't go wrong really. Our Time - 9/10 - great, breezy song with a hilarious video to go with it. Sheezus - 8.5/10 - the chorus is BRILLIANT, however the verses pale in comparison, still like it, though. L8 Cmmr - 9.5/10 - LOVE this, really infectious quirky pop song from Lily. Who Do You Love? - 8/10 - not bad, worst I've heard so far tbh, which isn't a bad thing. Miserable Without Your Love - 10/10 - AMAZING :wub: great slice of chilled R&B/Pop, def my favourite with HOH so far. Wind Your Neck In - 8.5/10 - only hear it once however quite like her attitude once again in this, should grow quickly. This is shaping up to be an excellent album from Lily, roll on May 5th! Very similar to "Not Fair" 7/10 L8 CMMR - I love this bop! 9/10 Miserable Without Your Love - Great track! Lyrically a little weak though 8/10 Our Time - Best thing she's done thus far 10/10 Sheezus - It sounds like something off an internet forum lyrically 6/10 Somewhere Only We Know - Bland and borang 3/10

April 28, 201411 yr Yeah I'd much rather have the proper explicit album but I'm settling for the clean for now. Makes you wonder why they couldn't at least send that clean version of HOH to radio when it was released though.

It does actually seem as though they chose to release the worst stuff from it by far. Saying that, nothing is brilliant and it is a massive disappointment compared to her earlier material. 'As Long As I Got You' is basically 'Not Fair 2.0' though and therefore automatically is the best thing on the album. April 30, 201411 yr YAY pleased to say this is nowhere near the disaster i thought it'd be and i actually enjoyed a lot of it. Some glimpses of the Lily i love, and i'll definitely be going back to it! Phew. The only issue i have is with her "rebirth" as Sheezus, thinking she's come back from a hiatus to save pop music or something with some quite lacklustre singles and visuals, when really she should be doing that with good pop music which speaks much louder than her "political" songs or rants ever could. Thankfully the album does largely stray away from the "Sheezus" opening track/title concept (which makes me consider even further why on earth she even chose it as the title :unsure:?) and one the whole it's a lot of fun :D There are a few dull moments, but highlights would be 'URL Badman' which is a RIOT, 'Take My Place' which is her doing ballads at her best, 'As Long As I Got You' and 'Wind Your Neck In'.

Really really love that entire top 10, and I really like the next 4 songs also. The last two are a bit meh but I'm not hugely familiar with that bottom 3 right now so I'm hoping they grow.
May 1, 201411 yr One of the songs of the album reminds me of Maroon 5's 'One More Night'. :lol: Can't remember which one though, and cba to trawl through the album stream again! The album's decent enough, but there's a fair few forgettable tracks. :(
