April 5, 201312 yr I was considering whether it was yours, Cal, but I didn't think I'd get yours twice in a row! :o  I'm glad you went for a mix as the diversity was one of the best parts about it. I also had no idea it was tailor made for me, but again as I like to think I'm open to a lot of different genres. I did kinda detect a theme of a possible dark love story intertwined with life on the streets (the picture gave me a small hint), but didn't think it was as obvious as the last one you sent me. Thank you once again, was a very good listen.

April 5, 201312 yr I threw a PM his way just there! ^_^ I was considering whether it was yours, Cal, but I didn't think I'd get yours twice in a row! You're welcome! Your reviews are always really great and I love reading them. I'm exactly the same in that I'm interested in and enjoy listening to a lot of different genres and I always find it a bit difficult to answer questions like "What kind of music do you like?" because I can never give a straight answer, but I'll admit it was harder than I thought it would be to choose songs when I knew who was going to receive the CD! The original playlist I had lined up was more urban/RnB (inspiration behind the photo) but I decided to mix it up a bit at the last minute, which I think was a good call. It's handy to know I can be more experimental if I'm making another CD for you though. Never know when it might happen again! :P
April 7, 201312 yr I'm not too good at describing songs, so this review will probably only be useful to read for the CD's creator! EEK. WE ARE CONNECTED 01 Operatic (that might not be a word) metal that would actually be perfect for Eurovision! An interesting way to start! Sounds like it could very well be Nightwish with an added male vocalist? Definitely not my thing, but I really like it! I mean, I've used three exclamation marks here; it's got to be good. 9/10 02 This track starts in a similar way, but it's a lot softer and yet somehow less Eurovision. I still like it though! It's all rather operatic and I think I could take an entire CD of this. 8/10 Track 3 is missing! Trauma. 04 Oh mah gerd, it's Mumford & Sons. Well, someone close. This is rather boring and I have little to say about it. :( The strings tho! <3 5/10 05 MORE MELLOW. This is not necessarily a bad thing. Is this a ska Joanna Newsom or something? Coolbeans. 7/10 06 ELECTRONICS. The intro could almost break out into Gooddelta-esque 90's dance, but instead it settles on a song potentially made by Two Door Cinema Club. Not particularly my thing (I feel like I'll be saying this a lot), but it's decent enough. 6/10 07 I was slowly switching off until about a minute, when the chorus and brass kicks in. I'm gonna have to know the name of this one! Solange IS THAT YOU? (or the forever unclassifiable Dirty Projectors, for that matter) 9/10 08 Acoustic-y song that appears to portray damsel(s) in distress. "your breath won't let me breathe in", you poor flower. 5/10 09 Who are you and what have you done to Lady Sovereign? 4/10, mostly due to the verses. The rest is actually quite good, but regrettably indivisible from the occasional atrocity. 10 AH MEH REE KA. This is kinda lovely. We are connected indeed. 8/10 <3 11 I was just thinking that this CD needed something that pushed the boat out a bit, and the intro of this does! The vocals get a bit plain-Jane sadly :( ALMOST GOOD. 5/10 12 Pretty but nondescript. Ehh. I apologise deeply only for destroying your favourite songs in less than five words. 4/10 13 This is 'Bridges' by Fallulah! It was sent to BJSC sometime in 2010. Whilst I haven't listened to it in a while and it doesn't sound fantastic upon relistening, I gave it 13 points, so it can't be that bad! 7/10 "when we get wet, we hang to dry". erm, yes mate. 14 We finally don the half-arsed indie feigning and go pure pop with the track that gets closest to *.* on here (or is it *_*?). We now know where the CD gets its title too! Celebrations all round. 8/10 15 Oh. I spoke too soon. See 12. 3/10, regrettably :( 16 After a long and anxious wait, we finally see some male vocals. Thank goodness, I was getting an overdose of oestrogen there! 5/10 17 Everyone loves a bit of CAMP ELECTRO HOORAY. This is Holy Ghost! n'est-ce pas? I like anyhow 8/10 18 Hard rock. Neurotic. Edgy. Ooh. GET YOU. I like this when I ignore the inevitability of this being a Christian band. I try to not discriminate. 7/10 19 COUNTRY. Country! Next time, I will learn not to complain about Christians, as Karma will bite you in the arse and give you the TRULY TEDIOUS-AS-FUCK side of America's Bible Belt. Sorry CD-maker, but NO. :( 0/10 20 The very last track! Let's hope it's a good'un. To keep with the religious theme, we start with bells. As much as I've found some very good tracks here, we're keeping well and truly with the largely mellow theme here, and I can't help but crave something a bit more OUT THERE. I'm sure it's lovely but I'm an impatient guy. 5/10 So I said the crux of it in the review of the last track: I definitely enjoyed the CD and there was a fantastic mix of genres, but I can't help feel that it was all a bit too NORMAL for me. 90% of the time it means I won't be interested, but track 10 is one of those notable exceptions. Don't be afraid of putting in some BANGING pop anthems because most of even the alt forum do very often like them! I'm sorry; I'm insatiable. I also say this having made a fairly mellow CD myself, we just have different definitions of what 'gorgeous' is. Nevertheless, in no way do I regret listening to it and I'm pleased at only knowing one or two tracks! Highlights are: 01, 07, 10 and 14. I have listened and relistened to all four, so they're keepers. I get the feeling this could be Eyes? Or has Ghosty's CD been revealed yet? One of those two for sure. YAY. <3 Edited April 7, 201312 yr by Harve
April 7, 201312 yr Not mine, but it sounds like one I might be interested in listening to! Indeed! It could well have been Caerfyrddia's (I don't speak or spell Welsh) BJSC entries in a parallel universe.
April 7, 201312 yr Actually, skimming through it again I've realised how good it is. I'd prescribe it to Dandy, Eyes (if it's not actually yours), JohnKM, gooddelta, Cal, possibly Pavel, and C.W. It's up ALL of their streets. Edited April 7, 201312 yr by Harve
April 7, 201312 yr That's mine Harve! That's weird about track 3, it was on and it was quite different from most everything else on the CD  And probably the most obscure track there, oops. I'll have to check that. I'll write up the track names later this evening (and send you the link Ghosty).

I have listened and relistened to all four, so they're keepers. I get the feeling this could be Eyes? Or has Ghosty's CD been revealed yet? One of those two for sure. YAY. OKAY. 1. PAIN (feat. Anette Olzon) - Follow Me It is Nightwish, pretty much, except it's this rock singer PAIN featuring Nightwish's second (and best) lead singer, Anette. It's amazingly ANTHEMIC, one of the best male-vocalled metal songs I've come across. 2. Indica - Islands Of Light I think these guys supported Nightwish way back, so similar area definitely. That pretty much exhausted all my unknown operatic metal tracks unfortunately. I've linked this here and I'll see what I can do with re-uploading the CD so this is actually included! It's an instrumental with spoken samples (and is amazing), would have stood out so much on the CD had it actually worked. :( 4. Ruarri Joseph - Until The Luck Runs Dry I don't know very much about this guy but I do like his voice. Hadn't considered Mumford & Sons, but yes, those strings! 5. Bridie Jackson & The Arbour - Scarecrow Can't tell you that much here either but it's certainly unique. 6. Nightbox - Relocate You Dance-punk band I've been following recently. I considered their new song for this BJSC which is a lot weirder than this. But this is a cool track too, a little more clearly defined than that in terms of electronics. 7. San Fermin - Sonsick I wasn't really sure how this was going to go down at all, so I'm really glad you liked it. It's certainly unique and that chorus is awesome. I was seriously going to send it to BJSC at one point but I backed out (too scared that people would just pass over it) and sent a far safer option. 8. Kate McGill - Cursed Something from her EP last year (she was entered into BJSC way back sometime), embodiment of the sort of airy sweet pop I enjoy sometimes. 9. Lucy Love - Poison I love the rhythmic rapping of this track, she's a Danish rapper I think. I LOVE the verses, less so the chorus. 10. Aura Dione - America From her Before The Dinosaurs album, this is about the best highlight of that, it really is quite lovely. 11. VersaEmerge - No Consequences Considered this seriously for BJSC also (this is a dumping ground for those, although they're all still on my longlist), the lead singer of this was on Pro Green's Avalon last year. 12. Amanda Mair - Sense HARVEY HOW COULD YOU. 3 Best thing on Amanda Mair's album and her second single, I think some of us were loving it early 2012 or something. 13. Fallulah - Bridges Obviously. I figured this would be a bit more well-known but it is fantastic, if I'd been around in that BJSC I'd have surely pointed it very highly. 14. Rose Spearman - Ain't Getting Better Yeah, the closest I went to pure pop this time. I might have done a bit more of this but I'm not a pure pop $l*t and I don't have that much of the unknown stuff that I think is very good. THIS THOUGH. *.* Another one from my BJSC longlist, I love that production on it, and her vocals are quite frankly amazing for someone that unknown. 15. Frida Amundsen - Closer Very similar to #12 really, yes. You might know her from fabled Rontvian entry 'Rush'. Closer's a little more basic than that but I like it. 16. Gorillaz - Amarillo And what sort of Gorillaz stan would I be otherwise? One of the highlights (what there were) from The Fall. 17. Holy Ghost! - It Gets Dark Yup, this is from my UP longlist instead (I keep different longlists, they aren't mutually exclusive don't judge me). It gets a bit repetitive later but I do really like it. 18. Fireflight - Stay Close The song on the CD that has been closest to being entered to BJSC, for better or worse. It is a Christian band, yes, and yes, they are awesome. If you like hard female-vocalled rock that is. Everyone should, frankly. 19. Jana Kramer - Why Ya Wanna This was REASONABLY big in America last year, but I think she's an actor normally so her vocals aren't the best. It's catchy but I wasn't expecting a great reception (always the second-last song on my CDs that people like the least) 20. The Rasmus (feat. Anette Olzon) - October & April So I bookended my CD with Anette features. Because she has a flawless voice. This is really rather beautiful, and it's the perfect Finnish rock ballad duet (4 things I normally find awesome anyway on ONE TRACK :D) Quite glad you seemed to enjoy it that much, I wasn't expecting much when I saw you got the CD so this is pleasing. I could have varied it a bit more I suppose but I was playing it kinda safe, and I liked how I managed to get some different genres in there. It is just re-uploading, hopefully with Port Blue added.
April 9, 201312 yr Oh that Port Blue song WAS there, it just came with its tags still there! I was listening under 'Unknown Artists', which is why I missed it. So no need to re-upload, sorry! You should give San Fermin another thought!
April 9, 201312 yr Nice looking CD Eyes, good to see Frida on there, that's been heavily used in a UK TV advert for some company that I can't recall, either DFS or BHS maybe? Miss Li's My Heart Goes Boom was on one too randomly...
April 10, 201312 yr What Are You Like I rate songs on a scale of 1 to 4, with 1 being songs I won't listen to after this post has been made, 2 being decent songs that will likely feature slightly in my rotation but fade out, 3's are good songs that I will listen to for a long time, and 4 is for favourites. 1 - Really great intro. Excellent pop song, although it's in English I'd hazard a guess and say Swedish singer, in part because the singer reminds me the tinyest bit of Robyn.. 3/4 2 - More pop with female lead vocal, this one is quite decent too, a bit more electronic and possibly slightly danceable. A good song, although it will probably fall out of my rotation at some point. 2/4 3 - Yet more female vocal indie-electro pop, this one is quite catchy and good as well. 2/4 4 - More pop, this time a bit more pompous and less electronic, and with a mix of male and female vocal. Interesting song, that I will likely tire of quickly though. 2/4. 5 - My favourite of the album, recognized it as Bastille fairly quickly. It seems to some sort of cover of Rhythm of the Night, and a rather good one. Go give it a listen. 4/4 6 - Straightforward and slightly up tempo female pop. It's decent, but won't get many plays I reckon. 1-2 / 4. 7 - Reminds me of "Ai Se Eu Te Pego", not a positive thing. -9 out of 4. 8 - Decent straight forward male lead pop song. 2/4 9 - Swedish pop song with female lead, very fine song actually. 2-3 / 4 10 - Very poppy pop song, female lead again, goes on about buying a Golden Retriever. I can see why it has a certain charm, it's not really in my taste though. 1/2 11 - More female pop, slightly more alternative this time and less light in its mood. I'm gonna make a wild punt and claim it's called Original Love 1-2 / 4 12 - Wupti more female pop, very low-key, and once again I can see a certain charm to the track, but it's not something I'm gonna find myself listening to. 1 / 2 13 - More female lead pop, I get the impression this song and perhaps even more the previous two, could be quite a few years old, as they don't really follow the modern sound. 2/4 14 - Back to male lead, a sort of low-key and oldfashioned pop song, not bad at all. 2-3 / 4 15 - Very sugary duet with 2 artists I don't recognize, it's pretty good, although perhaps a bit too sugary for my taste. 1-2 / 4 16 - Once again we return to poppy pop music with female lead, and as usual, it's really good yet not something that's likely to remain in my rotation for too long. 2/4 17 - Sounds like a 90's pop song, likely some female pop group, although I'm not sure I recognize the artist behind, I may do when I see the tracklist though. 1-2 / 4 18 - Another 90's/early naughties pop song, reminds me a bit of Faith Hill or similar based on sound and composition. I suppose given the type of song it's not bad, but a bit too repetitive for my taste. 1-2 / 4 19 - You probably hadn't guessed it, but it's another pop song (poprock possibly). Very dramatic sound, I may recognize the artist when I hear the name. Bonus points for a pretty nifty guitar solo. 2 / 4. 20 - Continues the dramatic style from the previous track, which I absolutely love as the ending of the album. This time it's possibly even more dramatic and a bit pompous. I like it, but it will probably quickly fade from my rotation. 2 / 4 Overall the music is really not my genre, I think a pop connoisseur would love the album however. Even though it's not my style, a few of the songs have caught on and overall it's been a very pleasant listening experience. I was initially somewhat at a loss as to who compiled the album, as I'm not aware of any Swedish participants. Instead I saw the Bastille song as a clue, as it is not on his newly released album, I assumed whoever included it must be a fan. As Gooddelta mentioned the song in the pop forum, my guess is that he made the album. (Which I dare say was almost confirmed when I took a look at his blog.) Overall rating 6/10 Edited April 10, 201312 yr by Horatio
April 13, 201312 yr Presumably this thread should be busy this week as there's still ELEVEN reviews still to come, that's over half in the last few days...
April 13, 201312 yr Surely that can't be Gooddelta's? I mean, it's ACTUALLY received a review! Ha! It is mine, hooray for a review, thanks Horatio! Glad you seemed to like quite a few of the songs as I wasn't sure if you would. My CD was called 'What Are You Like?', the title taken from one of the spoken word bits from B*Witched's C'est La Vie! Here's the tracklist and a bit of info as to why I chose each song: 1. Frida Sundemo - Snow - Swedish female electro-pop singer, this song is absolutely glorious and one of my favourites of the year. 2. Zedd feat Bright Lights - Follow You Down - He who had a top 40 hit recently with Clarity, this is just as emotionally engaging as a dance track. Its parent album is probably my favourite album of the year so far, so good. 3. Whigfield - As I Go - Danish former star Whigfield's recent comeback album W was far better than it had any right to be and this was my highlight of the album tracks, so catchy and great production. Adore the melody on this. 4. Army Of Lovers - Crucified - Going back in time to the early 90s for this Swedish cult pop legends' UK top 40 hit. This is the campest thing ever but it remains forever amazing. 5. Bastille - Of The Night - It is indeed a Bastille mash-up of Corona's Rhythm Of The Night and Snap!'s Rhythm Is A Dancer, one of their better covers from their mixtapes. 6. Brooke Duff - Till The End - A fluffy but catchy pop song from New Zealand with a power-pop chorus, surprised this never popped up in BJSC! 7. Gusttavo Lima - Balada (Tchê Tcherere Tchê Tchê) - I was OBSESSED with this and Ai Si Eu Te Pego last summer although I can see why they wouldn't be to everybody's taste. 8. Andreas Johnson - A Little Bit Of Love - Swedish legend's 2007 Melodifestivalen runner up, this is my favourite song of his I think, possibly even over Glorious but he has a stellar back catalogue despite most thinking of him as a one hit wonder. 9. Petra Marklund - Handerna Mot Himlen - Former Swedish dance act September using her actual name on this Viva La Vida tribute, a perfect piece of MOR daytime radio pop with a great string section. 10. Miss Li - Golden Retriever - Another Swedish lady, this is so quirky and 60s-ish, should have been in an Austin Powers film! 11. Josephine - Original Love - This lady's British and has been playlisted on Radio 2 a few times, nice soul-pop song and I really like this! 12. Caro Emerald - Dream A Little Dream Of Me - Dutch legend Caro's take on the Mama Cass classic, glorious, I love any incarnation of this song. 13. Jessie Ware - Never Knew Love Like This Before - This was on the soundtrack to the film I Give It A Year and hence slipped under the radar a bit but it's a lovely cover with a very 90s sound. 14. Mando Diao - Strövtåg I Hembygden - This band are HUGELY popular in Sweden and had a European hit with Dance With Somebody a few years ago. This song is way more folky and acoustic and it's absolutely gorgeous. 15. Nelly Furtado Feat Dylan Murray - Be OK - Nelly's The Spirit Indestructible was such a huge flop that I figured that I might as well include something from it as nobody would have heard it! It's a shame because it's an absolutely brilliant album, and this track hidden away on the bonus disc is a lovely duet. 16. Leddra Chapman - All About You - A perky mid-tempo from one of my favourite British female singer/songwriters, her voice is such a huge selling point. She does have better songs but this is her current single. 17. Atomic Kitten - Believer - Apologies, I couldn't resist! I was going through a HUGE Big Reunion phase when compiling this CD and this is my favourite album track of theirs, from the (flawless) 2003 album Ladies Night. 18. Nadine - I Will Be Strong - This is the original string laden ballad version of a song I sent to BJSC recently in the form of a dance remix. She's South African and the production is so lush and beautiful, the strings are stunning. I couldn't decide which version to send so I figured I'd send one to BJSC and save the other for this! 19. Europe - New Love In Town - A slightly random choice but yes, the 80s Swedish rockers are still together and still channelling Bon Jovi. This song is a really over the top hair rock ballad but I was addicted to it a few years back. 20. Ralf Gyllenhammar - Bed On Fire - And this is essentially an even rockier, more OTT version of the previous song by the lead singer of a Swedish metal band. This finished 7th in the Melodifestiavlen 2013 final!
April 14, 201312 yr A journey of sorts Whoever made this compilation has put a bit of effort into it, seeing as they’ve given each song an alternate title, which seems to form a story of sorts. The tracks: 1. Welcome... Starting off in familiar territory, this is Kota with Masters of the Sun from a recent edition of UP. A decent track which is like an electronic-y version of 30 Seconds to Mars. 6 2. To a distant land... A standard Buzzjack-y song. Female vocals, synth-pop, fairly European. Not my cup of tea. 3. 3. you're stuck here... Sounds suspiciously like Ellie Goulding, fairly stripped back. Not too exciting. 4. 4. nothing will leave... Another familiar track here - No Cars Go by Arcade Fire. Brilliant track, even if I am already good friends with it. 9. 5. do you feel lost? Ah, some rock music at last. Some decent American guitar music, Meat Puppets style. 7. 6. do you hear voices in your head? And back to the electronic stuff. Pretty standard stuff. 5. 7. did they betray you? Electronic steel drum opening? Fair enough. It’s Phoenix-esque pop-rock things. Not bad. Not bad at all. 6. 8. do you love them anyway? I’m quite sure I know this song, but can’t put my finger on it. Is this one actually Phoenix? Great one. 8 9. what happened to your childhood? This sounds like band-y electronica as well, yet I’m not as keen on this one. 5. 10. where did all that time go? Another one I seem to be familiar with. Sounds suspiciously like My Name is by Eminem with a female vocalist. Pretty average. 5. 11. are you free? Is this Ellie Goulding again? Folky electronic country shizz that sounds like it was on the soundtrack for one of those teen vampire flicks. 5. 12. what do you see? Now for something completely different. It’s a piano sea shanty ditty with male/female vocals with strings. One of the unexpected highlights. 8. 13. are you hungry for something? Some straight-up dance music. Slightly off-kilter and suspiciously garage-y, but not really terrible. 6. 14. your approaching stranger territory... Not good. At all. 1. 15. The highs Entering James Blake territory (although it’s not him). Seems more like assorted sounds than an actual song. 2. 16. The lows A piano led instrumental, with strings and electronically bits. If it was on an Air album, I would be rather satisfied with it. 5. 17. We are finished here, how do you feel? And what better way to end this compilation than with Outro by M83. I do love this song. 9 So to sum up, some good songs in here, mainly those I already knew, although I’m anxious to find out who songs 8 & 12 were by. Unfortunately, there were a few songs I wasn’t as keen on as well. I would hazard a guess that Bre compiled this compilation.
April 14, 201312 yr That's mine Brett. I was attempting to tell a story of some sorts using the tracks. I dunno if it entirely made sense, but I did want a sense of cohesion, while at the same aiming for diversity and I think this CD reflects my tastes very well. When I saw that you had it, I wasn't sure what you'd think. I'm glad you found something to like in here though. The tracks: 01. KOTA - Masters of The Sun Yep, my most recent Unknown pleasures entry (I'm surprised you didn't guess it was mine instantly from this!). I know nothing about them but if you check their website, they really are marketing themselves as quite...unique to say the least. I found this song and both the video and the song itself were really quite something. Definitely a group I want to check out more. 02. Feathers - Land of the Innocent This was my entry into BJSC last month, less said about how it did the better, I read on blogs that they were being compared to Haim, but I don't quite see it myself. Anyway, its a really good piece of dark synth pop if you like that sort of thing, but if its not your thing, its not your thing. 03. Indiana - Bound This was also entered into BJSC but not by myself (I promise I'm not just throwing my rejects at you ), I knew it beforehand though. I do kinda see the Ellie Goulding comparison, sorta keeps up the dark theme. 04. Arcade Fire - No Cars Go You guessed it! Arcade Fire are definitely one of my favourite 'anti mainstream' acts. I feel this is a bit overlooked in their back catalogue, I love the structure and how it just goes completely bonkers at the end 05. A Thousand Falls - Lost Yep, straight out stadium Snow Patrol-esque rock music really, although very much guitar based. I wish I could tell you more but this band seem so under the radar they're not even on Youtube! I'm glad you liked it though, I can't resist this sort of thing! 06. Romans - Ballad of a Figure 8 I found this to be a bit of a grower and the video is definitely worth a watch even if the song isn't to your tastes, its a shame you didn't like it as its one of my favourite tracks of the year. 07. Shields - Mezzanine is DEFINITELY worth a watch, its absolutely genius. I really love the song too, I would describe it as you summed it up! Of the little else I've heard of them, they don't seem all that good unfortunately. 08. The Royal Concept - Goldrushed Familiar? It sounds like your sort of thing, so I'm glad you liked it. This was something of a last minute inclusion on here, but I'm glad I did, that riff is quite something. 09. The New Division - Kids My UP entry in the contest before last, the fact you didn't remember it when you partook probably means it hasn't stuck so I'm not surprised at the neutral rating! I really love this, don't know much else about them except they are an LA quartet. 10. Beatrice Eli - It's Over Short but, for me anyway, sweet. She's a Swedish singer that I don't know much else about, I do like the attitude in this song though. This was a youtube rip so apols for that section in the middle in which she lights a cigarette  11. Ellie Goulding - My Blood Ayyy, she does feature! I'm sure you know about her, but this is an album track that her fans may know of, but maybe not to those who aren't familiar with Halcyon. Its probably my favourite track from there and I do wish it was a single! I dunno if it would be your thing, but I would definitely recommend listening to Halcyon, as its certainly not as poppy as her first. 12. Keston Cobblers Club - The Heights of Lola You liking it was as much as a surprise to me as it probably was to you! :o I'm glad though, its got a nice folk/country esque sound without alienating those that aren't fans of the genre, wonderfully random lyrics as well. They're a UK based mixed, multi-instrument playing group, one of them even plays a trombone! I've looked at their other stuff but again, wasn't impressed unfortunately. 13. Kissy Sell Out feat. Saint Saviour - Gimme Sin Wasn't sure what you'd think of this, so I'm glad you liked it. I love the unconventional feel of it all and of course those synths. I believe the singer is fairly well known, although I don't know much about her apart from this. 14. CocoRosie - GraveDigress UK female duo. Very much an acquired taste. Not much else to say here. 15. Hermitude - Hyperparadise (Flume Remix) This is the brief section where I went a bit weird pretty much like I did last contest - I just felt I wanted a section like this as I do actually appreciate this sort of music even if others don't. I don't really know much about this song or act, I just felt it fitted in well with the general theme of the CD. They're an Australian hip hop duo, not that you'd be interested :P 16. Mister Salmon - Sheffield Philharmonic Much like Forss that I put on my last CD, an acquired taste definitely, but I do feel it goes quite deep. He's a bloke from Yorkshire that's apparently been recording music like this since 1987 and taped it all and released it as an album recently. I think he wins the contest for the best name on this CD though, how inspired :D 17. M83 - Outro Of course, what better way to end?! I don't know much about M83 (Midnight City and that creepy but interesting tale of the bright eyed kids in their videos) but I've definitely heard this before. It was when I heard it on Africa that I could finally put a name to it, and I guess it just fitted in so well with the beauty of that show and was very appropriate, so it really clicked with me then. So more of a discovery for me than you, but one addition I couldn't miss! This was never gonna appeal all the way through to you, so I'm glad you liked what you liked and made a few discoveries if to add to the tracks you already know :D Edited April 14, 201312 yr by Chez Wombeux
