Nicki up to #30 now, i wonder why this is climbing up so quick? surely it isn't just the video thats having this effect, are there Radio stations playing this?

What with Iggy, Nicki and AlunaGeorge all climbing on iTunes this week, there is sure to be some really good songs entering the chart in the next fortnight! High School's success is really baffling considering her 'urban' songs usually flop but I'm not complaining. It's been a while since we've had some Nicki in the chart (disregarding the awful Beauty And A Beat).

None are deserving imo but I guess I rarely love a number one. :lol:

Will.i.am's S&S has to be one of the biggest pieces of shite to ever reach the top spot. :puke: James Arthur's vastly inferior cover of 'Impossible' should never have stayed at #1 for so long. 'Mirrors' is a little bit better than "okay" I guess but I haven't got a single 2013 #1 on my ipod - which will change soon when I download Duke Dumont. If only 'White Noise' or 'Just Give Me A Reason' got to #1.

I actually own the top 7, the top 4 are fantastic! I probably wouldn't listen to I Could Be The One out of choice, but it's alright. Deciding which one of that diabolic bottom 2 is worse was a hard choice though!

PJ & Duncan would be higher if I took into account the novelty of it being a #1 (would probably move up to #3 or even #2), but it's #6 based on being genuinely musically preferable to that horrific bottom 4.

The only awful #1 is One Direction! I have all the other songs on my iPod (with the slight exception of Get Up (Rattle) as I have the non-Far East Movement version)

 

Avicii is #1 by far, the others are more interchangable. will.i.am and James Arthur could've been higher but for me they are more 2012 songs than they are 2013. I am tempted to put Duke over Bingo Players but it's only early days and I could be over that song in a few weeks (however that is unlikely, as it's amazing)
