Regarding the purchase of single for political reasons being discounted surely singles like Free Nelson Mandella and Sunday Bloody Sunday should have been excluded from the chart as well?

With so many versions charting, under normal rules would the Official Chart combine all sales of Ding Dong to calculate it's position?

#42: Jim Johnston - WWE: ChaChaLaLa (Fandango)

Wrestling fans have started a campaign to get this charting worldwide, and The Sun have picked up on it.

Hey Porsche #3

Feel This Moment #4

Not cool. Really not feeling these songs.

Best Thing I Never Had  #41 (59p)

Ridin' Solo  #43 (59p) :o Never thought i'd see this so high again! Is he making a comeback soon? Only very recently I found out he's dating Jordin Sparks  (random)

Ariana Grande at #52, sounds like Mariah :o

Better Together  #65 Jack Johnson, nice song.

This is hilarious. I can't believe it's charting now on itunes haha

Ah, good to see some clarification that the 'Judy Garland' and 'The Munchkins' versions are the same. I think I shall be crediting it to 'The Wizard Of Oz Cast' on my spreadsheet.

And it looks like it is going to go top 5 at least if it's already climbed from #54 yesterday to nearly top 3 today! 15.6k for midweek #3 seems pretty poor though... :(

Yes! His new single 'The Other Side' premieres on April 16th! :D

Ah I see! Yeah they do that a lot when an artist is about to release new music they reduce the price of previous material to 59p, really good idea!

A WWE Song in the chart. Never thought I'd see that again especially after Cult of Personality a couple of years back

Homo-erotic wrestling has already appeared in the UK Top 40 before

"Slam Jam" by WWF Wrestlers made #4 in December 1992, and "Wrestlemania" made #14 in early '93.

The man behind it was Simon Cowell, who is DEFINITELY* not gay

*for legal purposes

Ariana Grande at #52, sounds like Mariah :o

Ariana's song is good, but it sounds similar to about 10 other songs, and yeah, it sounds like Mariah as well. Surprised its held up so well.

Definitely one of the most epic and anthemic songs of 2009/2010! I really couldn't stand some of his songs like In My Head and Don't Wanna Go Home though.

This needs to go to #1

Any fan of wrestling and WWE in particular will relate to this.

It's  to #23 now! 22 more places to go.

I get the feeling that in years to come, this will mark the point when a whole generation stop following the chart as it slowly turns from a list of popular songs to a list of Top 40 Most Popular Facebook Campaigns...
Are you expecting controversial Prime Ministers to start dying in their dozens on a weekly basis, then?
