Just watched pink's performance of trouble at the american music awards and god is a dj and the billboard awards.

Can someone explain why trouble peaked at a dismal 68 and why GIAD didn't even chart in the US?

For me Try This is her most consistent album.

The album still went platinum, not really a flop!
Bit of an odd topic. I don't see the point of this. It wasn't a flop.

No i know the album went platinum...

sorry the title of the thread isn't what i mean, im asking more why the singles from try this flopped, not the actual album. Sorry

For me Try This is her most consistent album.

Definitely! I love that album. I can see why the singles didn't perform greatly though, they weren't as catchy and chart-friendly as the singles from M!ssundaztood.

The album is fantastic, a real shame that the singles didn't do very well. :( Trouble especially is among her best IMO.
Also a shame that God Is A DJ wasn't on the Greatest Hits!
It wasn't a "flop" per se, but it under performed compared to her other albums. Every artist has this "dip".

I think if i-tunes existed back when Try This was released, Trouble would have probably charted a lot higher given that it was the first single off her new album and the typical download spike a newly released song receives, likewise I think God Is A DJ would have also managed to at least chart on the hot 100 as well.

This was / still is probably the album of hers I’m least familiar with.

But I just listened in full and I really enjoyed it.

The singles for me are some of my least favourite she’s ever done but the album tracks are all really good and it’s cohesive as an album too.

Definitely gonna listen again but it’s not her worst album it’s better than her debut at least.

This was my first Pink album. Loved her rockier side!
