This is pretty much what I think. I feel as if people are being harsh when they say that it's terrible, most likely because they do not like PSY. But oh well.

But the "motherf***er Gentleman" line already makes this song! AND Wet PSY again and again. Plus the last 20 seconds is just *.*

Agreed really. I probably wouldn't turn it off on the radio but it isn't something I'd listen to and take in, plus it doesn't have that 'something' that Gangnam Style did, so it won't be a hit. It will achieve some success off the back of Gangnam Style though I think.

I was certainly expecting a lot worse based on what you guys were saying about it.

 

I have a sort of new found appreciation for 'Gangnam Style' after hearing it out the other weekend and being... well, under the influence. :lol:

It sounds alright, it channels a lot of Gangnam Style though and therefore is a little safe. The 'Motherf*cker Gentlemen' line is indeed extremely catchy, I can see this being a massive grower for people. I personally don't think it will flop, but it obviously won't be as successful as GS, but then what will?! I can see it going top 10 in the UK and racking up a decent amount of sales.

This is all TREADING WATER to a certain degree as with a novelty hit like 'Gangnam Style' he was always going to be a one hit wonder. What could be put out to be a hit?!

It's not as instant as gangnam style. Might go top10 but it definately won't have the same appeal as his first song.

Sadly the song probably isn't getting much airplay in the US and isn't selling a load so I reckon it'll miss a Top 10 debut but rather get a Top 30 one.
