The lead single for Daft Punk's last studio album only got to #32 in the chart, so it's surreal that this one looks set to at least make the top 10 this week, and possibly #1 next week as well.

Fun fact - "Robot Rock", the last lead single from a studio album that Daft Punk released, was released the week that downloads were counted towards the chart for the first time, back in 2005.

Here is the actual video:

I like this song, it reminds me of the type of music that they use to make in the 1990's and early 2000's

This is a fan made edit using existing clips, and not the actual video.

It is! Top 40 smash please. Shame the EP is not out until the 6th of May or sometghing now. Delighted to see Daft Punk still #1, hopefully it can get there officially next week.

This song is dominating all over the world! This is the French iTunes chart pop bars:

1. Daft Punk - Get Lucky (Radio Edit) [feat. Pharrell Will... 1.0000

2. Maude - Love Is What You Make of It 0.1060

100. Alex Hepburn - Broken Record 0.0000

The song at #100 is selling nothing of Daft Punk and is 100% behind :o

Probably what's more surprising about France iTunes is the #3 position:

Robin Thicke ft. T.I. & Pharell - Blurred Lines

This is in France. FRANCE!

So Pharrell has 2 songs in the top 3 there. They got both Thrift Shop and Can't Hold Us in the top 10 as well. I wish I lived there now tbh.

WTF did this Daft Punk song come from?! :o

I didn't even know ithe song existed until I saw it at #1 on iTunes this morning!

Love seeing Daft Punk at no.1. Though I wish it were with some of their older stuff. Why oh why did Digital Love stall at 14?

It helps if I know what there is to be up-to-date with.

I didn't see any sign of this on the New Release Schedule...

Ah, the beauty of OA/OS.

Da Funk, Around The World, Digital Love, Harder Better Faster Stronger, Robot Rock should've been massive instead of 2-5 weeks top 40 :( And considering how much of a classic One More Time is now I wonder how it missed #1.

I remember at the time I fully expected that to be #1, it was everywhere for what seemed like ages before release.

I've succumb to the charms of 'Get Lucky' and bought it on iTunes. Such an incredibly feelgood song, love the retro 70s Chic-esque vibes of the track.

Would be awesome if this made it to no. 1 in the UK next week. There was me only a couple of days back thinking it'd be a Rudimental Vs Loveable Rogues battle for #1 next week.

I was more surprised that 'Can't Fight The Moonlight' by LeAnne Rimes managed to outsell 'One More Time'. 'CFTM' certainly never sounded like a massive hit to me so was genuinely gobsmacked when it topped the charts.
