Wow, really heartfelt message from Kylie there!

First thing I thought - she can’t even hide her hate for it even on an anniversary

Love that the comments on the post seem mainly positive though and people saying it’s underrated etc., (I even saw a post showing love for IWGC!).

I've just completed a full album listen to commemorate the 10th anniversary - I've always enjoyed most of the album but it was sounding particularly good today after not listening to it in a long time! It's a very uplifting, breezy album. Even the likes of 'I Was Gonna Cancel' and 'Sexy Love', which I have always considered two of the weak moments, were sounding decent. I'd still swap them out for some of the outtakes, songs like 'Golden Boy', 'Waiting for the Sun' and the Garibay tracks are too good to be left on the cutting room floor!

On the album itself, 'Into the Blue', 'Feel So Good', 'If Only', 'Kiss Me Once' and 'Fine' are all top tier, plus bonus track 'Sleeping with the Enemy' is one of my all time faves.

'Sexy Love' has always been a highlight on this for me, I get the criticism of it sounding a bit generic/by-the-numbers Kylie but I love that funk guitar running through it and the way she delivers some of the lines in her quintessentially coquettish way

Happy 10th Anniversary Kiss Me Once!

Having a song on a Kylie Minogue album defined my early career as a songwriter. I get asked about it in every interview to this day and I always gladly respond to the questions - I still have to pinch myself that it happened. It's an experience I'll always treasure. Not many people can say she covered one of their songs.

I know KMO is not necessarily one her most ~cherished of albums (I liked it!) but I've only ever heard universally good things about Feels So Good - and that's enough for me.

I hope someday she might decide to do another anti-tour and give Feels So Good fans what they want! You never know :)

It's actually mad to think 10 years on, Kylie is as popular, if not more so, 30+ years into a glittering career.

I remember when the album came out, reading a review in The Guardian, it said Feels So Good "feels like the fulfilment of the song’s destiny" and I like to think of it that way. Indiana found a perfect new home in a back catalogue that includes some of my favourite songs of all time.

Here's to another 10 years 💓

And his version of ‘Feels So Good’ under its original title of ‘Indiana’ -

I did my best to listen to the album and it truly felt awful, felt like watching a game of golf - it just wouldn’t get over!!

Everything about this album seems forced -

Sexercise was her trying to trendy but it fell flat on thr face

cancel was trying to cash in on the Pharrell love

Sexy love felt like a LADS wannabe

Million miles and ITB felt like a forced “emotopop “ Kylie

The only songs that still sound amazing today are the title track (which is truly truly lovely), Feels So good and the bonus song Sparks

Based on the totals we got for the album in 2019 and 2020, 'Kiss Me Once' would be on ~95,700 if it has continued selling at the same rate and would pass Gold in early 2027.

The slog to gold continues! Hopefully the 10th anniversary will give it some curiosity streams.

I skip way too many songs on the album to even consider it a half-decent album. ITB will always be a highlight for me.

It is a very skip tracks album for me too but I think there isn't much between this and body language in that way.

Both have a couple of decent songs and then to many bland ones aswell but overall have little replay value.

Strangely, apart from I Feel For You and Someday, I didn't skip any songs on BL.

Same, those two are horrific for me. I get at least some enjoyment out of all the other tracks.

Another Kiss Me Once era leak, interestingly with a title sharing the name of a different album...

It's got a very 2012 sound to it!

The song title for the new leak has changed from 'Body Language' to 'Speak to Me' (which I feel is the more likely title). It's decent enough but, out of the many 'Kiss Me Once' outtakes, it's not one I'd consider a missed opportunity.

This was a try-hard album - trying to ape her own formula or others' and hence, wasn't successful. But a decade later, I still think "into the blue" is a lovely song with a very nice classy yet low budget video. I also loved the title track, "Feels so good" and B-side Sparks
