I like what I like and I'm not afraid to admit it haha

I feel this needs reposting:

Nobody gives a shit.

I don't think it's of much interest to people on here, but the new track from Editors is out at midnight, it's called 'A Ton Of Love' and it's available when pre-ordering the new album 'The Weight Of Your Love' (out July 1st). It had it's debut on Zane Lowe's R1 show this evening.

I've never got round to listening to one of their albums, but I adore Munich & Smokers Outisde the Hospital Doors is criminally underrated. I will make sure to listen to this.

Edit: Its a little...different for them. I'm not sure if I like it that much :(

14. Disclosure - You & Me (feat. Eliza Doolittle)

So currently this is looking like something of an underperformance after 'White Noise', but do people think it will pick up? It's not been as instant as either of their two hits for me so I suppose it's the same for the public, it probably comes down to whether or not radio will give this the chance it needs. Will be kinda disappointed if it flops, but I'm sure the album will do very well regardless.

The Back Room is a really good album, I defiantly recommend it if you like the Editors.

I think once radio play starts to pick up, it will do ok & will stabalise like the others have. It's already a Top 10 hit, so it's certainly not a flop.

 37 - Mariah Carey - #Beautiful I'm sure some of you will be happy about this :)

 40 - Jazmine Sullivan - Bust Your Windows (I prefer the Glee version :P )

I don't think it was ever going to do as well as 'White Noise' as it's a much less 'hype-y' collaboration. It is holding up pretty decently so far and I imagine it will remain top 20 for at least a few more weeks (could see it re-peaking in a few weeks too).

Really shocked Disclosure have managed to make themself such a seemingly big name so quickly. I still don't understand where 'Latch' came from to be so huge (apart from it being an amazing song etc.)

Mariah Carey has managed to come up with a decent song for once. I could even see it doing quite well here.

 36. #Beautiful (feat. Miguel) - Mariah Carey

I'd be surprised if it didn't. Would much prefer Wretch 32 to get the highest new entry, but can't really see that happening :(

Blackout is absolutely incredible. Should be massive, so it's going to be devastating to see it inevitably flop on its butt :(

Buzzjack must be AGOG at the current UK iTunes top 10!

ALL the songs inside the top 10 are by males (main credit). The only females are Ella Eyre & Ellie Goulding inside the top 10 (only as featured artists though!)

Blackout is horrendous

THIS!

I'm waiting for some decent new releases

e.g. Union J, Vince Kidd, even Stooshe :)

Forget Rihanna! That Daft Punk reign just won't let up! :o Astonishing that it's still got such a ridiculously huge lead!
Forget Union J, Vince Kidd and Stooshe.

This song needs to rise to the top:

645. P Square - Alingo

I shan't be forgetting them anytime soon

But I do agree that Alingo is a great track and I'd love to see it go top 40!

Looks like Passenger is getting close to Rudimental but Rudimental is also at #31 so I wonder what it will be like combined, not sure if Passenger has other versions of the track charting

Will be interesting to see how things pave out in the midweeks

Can't see Daft Punk losing their lead by then though

Mariah getting a top 40 hit on UK iTunes and this is not 'All I Want For Christmas Is You'! :o I got the feeling that 2013 is a very odd year. :kink:
