May 5, 201313 yr I know 'Can't Hold Us' is doing well, but I still think it's utter insanity that 'Same Love' wasn't released. I think it could've been this summer's 'Airplanes', plus it feels like the natural follow-up to 'Thrift Shop'. Why can't Jameela say Macklemore properly? What makes you think it will not be released? It might be the next single (it probably will be considering it's charted on Hot 100 already)

Since they were seen as novelty by a lot of people because of Thrift Shop, so maybe the song wouldn't have been taken seriously. Also, there's that gay rights thing happening in the US soon, so now Same Love will be all over the radio when it happens, rather than it being all over the radio now.
