May 8, 201312 yr Gabrielle top 20 as I expected thanks to the physical sales and EP too! :cheer: The 59p boost should ensure it stays top 20 by the end of the week hopefully or at least top 25! :D
May 8, 201312 yr Excellent for Alison Moyet, she should be safe for a top 10 debut at a worst case scenario now.
May 8, 201312 yr #18 was actually the position I envisaged for Gabrielle Aplin before this week, although I imagine she'll still keep top 25 officially. Would be super great if Chris Malinchak could keep his #2! I think it's this year's 'Stereo Love' though, which is still good. Edited May 8, 201312 yr by Silver Rocket
May 8, 201312 yr Albums #1 is hard to call. A 3k lead for a new entry usually wouldn't be enough to hold on, but I guess Caro Emerald as a Radio 2-type act will probably hold up better than most towards the end of the week. I dread to think how low sales are lower down if Lady Antebellum are challenging for the top 5...
May 8, 201312 yr Totally forgot Little Boots much delayed second album is out this week, I may have to get that! I hope that can hold on to the top 40, shame her career went totally down the U-bend.
May 8, 201312 yr Daft Punk on 58k Down by 12k on this stage last week, so I guess yet another week of them increasing sales is out. Though it was always the longest of shots. Should still be around 130-135k though. Edited May 8, 201312 yr by Danny
May 8, 201312 yr Down by 12k on this stage last week, so I guess yet another week of them increasing sales is out. Though it was always the longest of shots. Should still be around 130-135k though. Why do you predict it so low? I think it's very likely to at least come close to 150k again. It's only 2k down on its Wednesday sales from 2 weeks ago (when it sold 155k), they're still selling around 20k a day during the week and they always seem to have a huge spike on Saturday. It was obviously going to decrease from last week but I really am surprised at how much they're STILL selling per day. Pleasing to see Chris Malinchak #2 today as I predicted! He'll probably drop back to #3 or #4 by Sunday but still top 5 isn't bad, it doesn't exactly sound like a huge hit. Hope Rudimental can claim back a second week at #1 in the albums, never really considered any other possibility than Caro but 3k is really not that big a lead (unless Rudimental's sales have absolutely PLUMMETED this week). Ha at Hugh Laurie smashing it again. Not so ha at Lady Antebellum. Thought we'd be safe from them getting another top 10 album after they didn't even have a minor hit single this time. Ah well, low sales I guess. :( at Noah And The Whale still being as low as #8 despite that though, what has happened to them? #29 in the mids is actually a lot better than I expected for Little Boots. That says a lot.
May 8, 201312 yr I dont think Little Boots will hold up through the remainder of the week so i predict number 41 on Sunday, yes that horrible #41 position.

May 8, 201312 yr :cheer: :yahoo: :cheer: :yahoo: I might possibly have something to say about this on Sunday :D Let's hope they hold on until the end of the week. I imagine that a lot of their sales were preorders.
May 8, 201312 yr Even with all the new entries this week, Emeli Sandé is STILL managing to cling on at 10.
May 8, 201312 yr Even with all the new entries this week, Emeli Sandé is STILL managing to cling on at 10. She was #4 last week and there are 5 new entries above her, so even ignoring the new entries she'd be falling. Not so impressive when you look at it like that. She'll probably still end up around #5 on Sunday anyway (overtaking most of the new entries in the process).
May 8, 201312 yr Even with all the new entries this week, Emeli Sandé is STILL managing to cling on at 10. Those sales look extremely low, particularly with Lady Antebellum looking at entering the top 5. I can't imagine she has much competition... Edited May 8, 201312 yr by Chez Wombeux
May 8, 201312 yr :( at Noah And The Whale still being as low as #8 despite that though, what has happened to them? Their last album peaked at #8 and that had L.I.F.E.G.O.E.S.O.N. which was a top 20 hit from it, they haven't had a hit single from this album. Their album before that (which similarly didn't have a hit single) peaked at #16! It's an amazing album anyway, love Noah and the Whale so much!
