And Do It Like A Dude, and Laserlight, and Domino, and every other single she's released

Is 'Wild' available to listen to yet? I'm expecting good things from her especially with Big Sean featuring on the track. (and obviously Dizzee shouldn't disappoint)

Domino and Laserlight were album tracks which were available for months before they became big hits though, so I wouldn't really count them, and Do It Like A Dude was her breakout single which rose very slowly because the hype around her was low and only starting to build at this point, so the closest to the situation we may be in on Sunday is 'Price Tag', hence why I used it as the example.

Anyway, no its not, you shall have to wait till Sunday :kink:

I fear they're going to be annoying and put "Still Into You" back to 99p when it's at #11.

You must be an Arsenal fan.

#8yearsnotrophies

Or David Moyes :D

Your signature is FAR too big. Please change it to something that doesn't stretch the screen.

 4 Daft Punk ft Pharrell Williams - Get Lucky (Album Version)

Has something like this ever happened before?

Yes, and it's great when it happens on a Sunday as it screws up the Made-Up Big 40.

I saw some Breakdancers dancing to this song in Camden Town today, i didnt think Get Lucky was the type of song you could breakdance to

Price Tag was different because it had its radio premiere 2+ months before its release and lots of people knew the song before it was up for download, whilst this song I believe nobody has heard in full yet (and if they have, it'd only be a few days before release). So I don't think this will match the first-week success of Price Tag. It's probably more like Do It Like a Dude imo, but she's more established now, so it will probably debut higher.

1073. Lil Jon & The East Side Boyz & Ying Yang Twins - Get Low

I remember this song from Need For Speed: Underground. "Play No Games" should be in the top 1500 as well.

Just noticed that the fake of I Love It has finally been deleted...until the next one comes along anyway.

21. Young and Beautiful - Lana Del Rey

33. Power Trip (feat. Miguel) - J Cole

43. Play Hard (feat. Ne-Yo & Akon) [New Edit] - David Guetta

48. Graffiti on the Train - Stereophonics

54. Brown Eyed Girl - Van Morrison

57. Treasure - Bruno Mars

75. Liquid Lunch - Caro Emerald

79. The Conversation - Texas

86. A Little Party Never Killed Nobody (All We Got) - Fergie, Q-Tip & GoonRock

97. Blurred Lines - DJ Troy Lefreak

Glad to see the fake version of 'I Love It' being deleted. But then again, I sort of wish it got even higher to force the label to bring forward the release as we are just going to go around in circles as look what has suddenly appeared:

:ne: 359. Iconic Pop Band - I Love It (Deluxe Version)

The perfect release date for this would be Sunday 2nd June. It might not get #1, but it would have been held back enough to ensure a top 10 entry (I think) and it will sell much more in the long run I think. If this is released soon, it could be a million seller. However if it gets held back too long, I fear it will have amazing first week sales and drop very quickly.

6. 2 Chainz ft Wiz Khalifa- We Own It

When do people think this will start gradually dropping down the iTunes chart?

91. Eminem- Shake That

Wasn't this disqualified from the official charts when it was released?

YES Texas! Get that top 100 smash! Never imagined it would get this high, is there not an album version nearby scraping it into the top 75?

#71 now!!

The Conversation is a massive grower, it sounded so boring on first listen but I really like it now. Nice to see the Radio 2 audience have found their way around iTunes recently, lots of older bands and artists doing relatively well in the past few months.

59. Kate Bush - This Woman's Work

I believe this was the song that was used towards the end of tonight's episode of 'Waterloo Road'. I thought it sounded like Kate Bush but wasn't actually sure, but I guess it must have been!

I just hope they don't learn how to use the search function. The last thing we need is Daniel O'Donnell back in the charts.

Not entirely relevant to the iTunes thread, but Icona Pop is now on UK Spotify, and I certainly don't remember it being there before today (I search for it pretty much daily just in case). Maybe a full release is imminent...?
