Its good. MUCH better than the mess that is 'Swagger Jagger'. Very Keri Hilson-esque.

After the clip, I wasn't keen - but the full thing has changed my mind. Not quite as good as Swagger for me yet, but i'll keep listening to it :) But I do think this will definitely get #1 unless Criminal gets there after Brit's performance :D

Her voice is just SO squeaky! The verses are yet again absolutely abysmal (lyrically and vocally), and whereas the vocals are *slightly* better on the chorus than they are on 'Swagger Jagger', it's just so messy. And the additional of Mike Posner is rather lame too - it's just so forgettable. I doubt it's a number one at all - hopefully it performs similarly to 'My Wicked Heart' (although that song is much better than this).

I'm glad you were right, I was worried it would be shit but it's very good! The clip was a bit misleading I think.

The addition of Mike Posner is quite perplexing? It's asif someone at her record label though 'ahh that Mike Posner is quite current, let's get him to sing a short verse!". Now 8 months ago this would have been a good idea, but now? Who knows. He might as well be Cher Lloyd, cos you wouldn't realise it was his vocals.

 

The lyrics are beyond awful. Seriously dreadful. The production is quite catchy mind, but the vocals are just all over the place.

I love how different it sounds from swagger jagger. I don't think it'll be No.1 though as I'm sure she releasing the same week as the Wanted.

The song in general is alright, doesn't really go anywhere though and the chorus is a bit 'meh'. I'm sure it'll do well for her though.

Nowhere near as good as 'Swagger Jagger' but far superior to 'Superhero' (don't get the praise for that whatsoever)!

This is not going to be a #1. Swagger Jagger had far more hype, with a lot of people intrested in it due to it being her first single and its far more memorable that this, even if I do despise it, atleast it sticks in your head. This just doesn't sound like a massive hit, and if SJ can only sell 66k with all the hype behind it, then this is not going to get anywhere near that, and the sales are going to A LOT higher when this is release, as its in the busiest release period. I expect low top 10, may scrape top 5 at best.

I think the addition was Mike Posner was due to her (trying) to perform 'Cooler Than Me' at the judges houses (it started climbing the UK charts after stalling in the low top 40/early top 50's after her performance(??) of it) and I think this could propel him back into the spotlight. Oh and number 1 because of an X Factor performance isn't guaranteed, we all know that haha. Remember 'Thinking of Me'? :P (I wouldn't be surprised if this was to go the same way though :()

It "only" sold 66k due to how love/hate that song was :lol: I think this is getting a slightly better response than 'Swagger Jagger', but who knows. I guess we'll have to wait and see.

 

EDIT: Just noticed this has quite a heavy M.I.A. 'Paper Planes' sort of sound/vibe to it!
