So j.lo isnt relevant anymore than what is she then?? "Irrelevant"?? anyone can clearly see that she's in a different position now than back in 2009 when she "USED TO BE IRRELEVANT"

You clear;ly dont like j.lo so any positive progress the song makes you'll just find a way to twist things to make it negative.

Oh, yeah, you're right, she is really relevant. Everyone always says how they can't wait for her next song! She can release songs without Pitbull featuring. She releases new and innovative sounds and doesn't stick to dance pop. Also, she does so well in the charts and always makes top ten!

Less of the sarcasm please - there is no need to create arguments. You have your opinion, so please respect other peoples.

How long has it been since an artist released two songs selling over 100 000 copies in the space of a few weeks, Spice Girls? Arctic Monkeys?

Theres more to j.lo than dance pop but you clearly dont know that. Like i said she's not irrelevant anymore as a singer, actress, bussines woman and as a brand.

You're acting as if j.lo is over ala debbie gibson or cyndi lauper style when she far more relevant than that.

Plus im sure her next single will be hotter & less generic and hopefully do better than the current single.

So how did it get to number 11 on itunes? :s

That was only on pre-orders, the song itself was not available.

You never see other songs appearing that high due to pre-orders though, or at least i havn't noticed. I didn't think pre-orders appeared on the itunes chart

They do, I was confused by this too.

Songs that don't have an EP appear on the singles chart

It happened before, Skyfall did it too

No, you don't see many, only genuinely huge future hits (Adele - Skyfall, some One Direction thing). It only really started happening last year and I think the first huge song to do so was Skyfall.

It's probably rare to happen in the space of a few weeks, since artists tend to spread their singles out by a few months. Although there was a relatively small gap between Only Girl and What's My Name? selling over 100,000.

I don't think they did until last year, because I never used to see any pre-orders in the chart, but now it happens all the time. So I think iTunes maybe decided to let them appear in the chart sometime last year.

Blurred Lines was the first ever song getting this high only on pre-orders. ;)

So pleased to see Robin Thicke and Pharrell do so well! Dunno how secure it is at number 1 with Jessie J now rush-releasing her new song but I hope it gets at least a week at the top.
Yeah pre-orders of singles have only started appearing in the feed in the last year or so. I think the first one to do so was Paloma Faith's 'Never Tear Us Apart'.

It still hasn't happened...

Pharrell was only a featured artist, so it doesn't count as *his* release.

Really, that's the rule? I always count featured artists as having the hit too

If Daft Punk and Blurred Links both sell 100 000 next week, would that make Pharrell a record-breaker or not because he's featured?

It's not a real 'rule' its just how vidcapper sees it.

26. Soundbwoy (Original Mix) - Stylo G

I thought Stylo G would be in the top 10 by the time i turned on my computer today. What the hell is going on?
