Wanted are top 5 contenders at best ... personally I feel a no. #6 is in order.

Lol at them havig any chance at no.1.

Funnily enough, iTunes and the general music buying public don't work things around your taste.

So this is blowing up in the States (Top 30 on their iTunes) and Haus said it's been getting good airplay updates over there also, so I think it is safe to assume this is the next single for them. I think it's going to be massive. Will be interesting to see how it does in the next few months.

P!nk would be at #1501 if they did

We'll see, I predicted Miss Swift's position + chart performance perfectly.

You all laughed when I said no.28 for Saturdays too, but it's flopping on airplay.

Wanted will struggle to make top 5, their position will be between 5-6.

58. Just Give Me a Reason - P!nk

Dropping fast all of a sudden :o

By the way he's white. :D

I noticed that in the video, but so what?

Why is everyone so gassed about I Love It anyway? it's just 2:35 of shouting in my opinion.

Well, talking seems to sell a whole bunch of records, so why not shouting... :P

 39. Young and Beautiful - Lana Del Rey

This was in the 90's a couple of days ago :o

I''m certainly not complaining, but I have no idea why it's reclimbed?

Looks like there was a problem with Passenger, he's now rapidly increasing again.

62. 99 Problems - JAY Z

I thought this had been taken off 59p at last but apparently not - and it's now the highest it's been for a couple of weeks. Is this seriously just gonna stay 59p forever, this'll be its ninth week back in the top 100 because of it

If Icona Pop do get to #1 next Sunday, I'll be really overwhelmed. The high standard of #1s so far this year (minus the duds S&S, LGRTR and 'Impossible') has been refreshing. I can't think of another year where there was such a high quality.

It's always been 59p, well for over a year it has been. It's just that they've finally promoted it as being 59p.

Choice FM have been playing this ever since Thrift Shop got big. I think it could go to #1, definitely top 5.

I think Rudimental's next single will be either Baby or Right Here since those are the songs I hear on the radio the most. I hope it's Baby since they've released three drum & bass singles in a row, so they need to show a different side now.

She seems to climb late in the week every time!

Why would YOU be overwhelmed? It should be Icona Pop who get overwhelmed since it's their shouting that is on the song.

Kendrick not top 100 on my feed (#103 to be precise) but at least he got there for a few minutes!!1!

I meant overwhelmed by having yet another great song at #1 and therefore not breaking the chain of great number ones from Duke Dumont. I usually love no more than a few #1s each year.

The Wanted have been so hammered on radio that, despite it being terrible, I expect Walks Like Rihanna to open with about 100k. Hopefully that won't be enough, I'd expect them to be #1 on the first mids though.

I'm so glad that Can't Hold Us was a bona fide hit since it looks like it'll set Same Love up really well. Macklemore's album sales will look miniscule compared to his single sales towards the end of the year - although SL will probably boost it more than the other two singles anyway so maybe no more than they do now.

 :yahoo: :w00t: :cheer:

And this is why this song won't stay on the radio for 'years' as that guy on here said. It was commercial tripe, coupled with awful vocals, produced and manufactured for radio. When radio stopped playing it (finally  ) , no one was gonna go out their way looking for it.

The vocals really aren't that bad in IDC. They're much better than some chart vocals, note the above.

Also, there has been a better quality of music/ no.1s pretty much any other year! Don't forget awful + dull songs like Mirrors made no.1 this year.

I like that new Kendrick Lamar song!

Also, just because Walks Like Rihanna has been hammered does't necessarily mean it'll open well (though that has been the rule this year, any song hammered by radio, regardless of quality, has smashed ...). Look at the Wanted's discography sales and then listen to the uh quality of Rihanna. It'll open around 50-60,000 for a low top 5/ no.6 place.
