Why so slow? :(

GO TOP TEN DAMNIT!

Isn't People Like Us on pre-orders alone?

If the answer is yes, then it's a good sign.

Unfortunately the answer is no.
Hardly unpopular, it's just got no airplay.
It's not exactly getting any support from anywhere (unless music channels are playing it). Keep in mind her last single missed the top 40 and that was before the album came out.
Remember that 'People Like Us' is already available to download from her Greatest Hits album so there would be no need for a pre-order.

Yeah, the song deserves it, it is great! It's just getting no support though

Leah's song choices apparently are

Loving You and I Will Always Love You

. She's REALLY going out of her way to be as unbearable as possible :manson: :manson: :manson:

'Catch My Breath' missed the top 40 due to a messy release and being cancelled as a single just days before release. Then she performed her older "classics" rather than CMB when she was over here promoting the opus that is, her Greatest Hits. I actually dont think CMB was performed once over here, which is a shame. It's nice to see 'People Like Us' do decently with limited support and none from radio. Needs to be reduced to 59p though!

There's gonna be a programme on ITV at 8:15 pm called "The Nation's Favourite Dance Moment" so expect Gangnam Style to get it's usual Saturday boost as well as some other old songs like Vogue and Thriller.

 69. Kanye West - New Slaves

 137. Kanye West - Blood On the Leaves

The dozy plonka has named his new Daughter "North"

North West LMAO

Just looking on the Irish itunes and the Wanted are Number 1 (new singles get a friday release here) really surprised by this, if it holds on over the weekend i think the same will happen in the UK next week as the Wanted are much bigger in the UK than Ireland.
But weren't Icona Pop already released before this week in Ireland?
82. I Knew You Were Trouble. - Taylor Swift

This was just sung by a housemate on Big Brother so expect to see a huge boost. :)

Not that big - just up 19 places.

PS, is it just me, or is Haven 'broken' this morning?

Edit : never mind, it seems to be working again now.

I read on here it was rush released in Ireland which I didn't realise was the case. Why couldn't 'I Love It' have been "rush released" in the UK too. :(

Sadly I think this means The Wanted are going to tarnish what has been a string of decent UK chart toppers in the last few of months. Sigh!!! -_- (well, it had to happen sooner or later)

Why would 'People Like Us' do anything? As much as I love the song and Clarko, it seems so pointless to just randomly drop it 6 months after he greatest hits, with no airplay or promotion of any kind. It's not going to help sell the album either :s
I get the feeling Leah may cause an upset in the charts if she wins. If she is singing

Loving You

and it receives the same reception as when she last performed it then I think it could officially go top 5.

Songs performed on The Voice final tonight:

New Solo Performances:

Mike – ‘Suspicious Minds’ by Elvis Presley

Andrea – ‘My Immortal’ by Evanescence

Matt – ‘Babylon’ by David Gray

Leah – ‘I Will Always Love You’ by Whitney Houston

Duets with Coaches:

Mike and Sir Tom – ‘Green Green Grass of Home’ by Sir Tom Jones

Andrea and Danny (and The Script) – ‘Hall Of Fame’ by The Script

Matt and Jessie – ‘Never Too Much’ by Luther Vandross

Leah and Will – ‘Bang Bang’ by will.i.am

Series Favourites:

Mike – ‘Don’t Close Your Eyes’ by Keith Whitley

Andrea – ‘Angel’ by Sarah McLachlan

Matt – ‘Trouble’ by Ray Lamontagne

Leah – ‘Loving You’ by Minnie Ripperton

I do think Leah has this sewn up based on song choices but I'd prefer Matt although winning may be the kiss of death for him. I hope

Trouble

and

My Immortal

get significant boosts - probably much to the annoyance of Bre. I wonder why Matt/Jessie are performing another artist's song while the other teams are doing songs by their mentors. Matt/Jessie could've done a soul cover of 'Domino'. :(
