I'm not saying it isn't great. I'm saying it's probably not 10/10 material. I am open to being incorrect.

On first listen it's quite dry apart from the singles, I'm going to need time to get into it.

I have it on Spotify now. It's solid enough. No stand outs so far.I hope it's a grower.

I'm quite eager to check this out actually, with the two singles they've really won me back around.

 

(I did like 'Crying Lightning' and 'Don't Sit Down...' but they've not greatly interested me since Favourite Worst Nightmare.

I bought this yesterday - the opening trio of "Do I Wanna Know?", "R U Mine?" and "One For The Road" is pretty damn strong. The rest of the album will have to grow as per usual, but "No.1 Anthem" is standing out for me; the melody of that sounds a bit like the Beatles in places. I really like that one!

Did a double review of this and the 1975's album, safe to say it's grown on me.

Decided to invest seeing as it's only 99p to download it at the moment! Wish I'd got it sooner - Listened to it twice so far and am hooked - I listened to the previews when it was released but didn't think much of them so was surprised by how good it sounds.

Amazing album surprised theres only 2 pages for the album thread lol!
