Daley's 'apology' would be sincere if he hadn't already pinned all the blame on Hazel beforehand or stated that he "wouldn't waste [his] breath on her", despite selling his story to the Daily Mail about how he was 'stitched up' by her. Emma was truly dreadful as well, and that's coming from someone who adores her. She basically reassured him that he wasn't the blame and that everyone loved him. I said it before but I think some people, especially pretty much everyone on BOTS, have lost all perspective when it comes to Hazel. You're obviously entitled to immensely dislike her because she has done some stupid things but people cannot honestly preach the "girl code" and then blame her for basically getting assaulted. Hazel will be greeted with boos and hatred while Daley was basically cuddled and told he wasn't in the wrong. It sets a very dangerous precedence, imo.

Yeah, I actually very much agree in this situation. I actually went into a mode of feeling a bit sorry for Daley at the start as I thought he was showing a lot of remorse for his actions - and actually regretted taking it so far. Then, when he was basically saying he didn't want to waste his breath on Hazel - I just thought 'oh, so you really don't understand why your actions got you removed then'. He states that he understands he may have upset lots of girls watching with his actions, so why does he not understand that he may have upset Hazel?

I think where I very slightly understand him is that Hazel did return to hugging him afterwards, so perhaps he got mixed messages from her which didn't add up to the diary room comments. I'm sure that was more down to Hazel not wanting to fuel the fire even more, and just keep things a bit tamer. I'm certainly far from liking Hazel again, and think she's been terrible through this Daley/Hazel thing, but I did gain respect by her only telling Dan, and Daley needs to see that regardless of if Hazel felt threatened or not (aka her diary room comments) - his actions were completely out of order.

Watch HMs nominating Hazel next week because she 'got Daley ejected' (even though they will most likely not know WHY he was ejected). Gina will probably start all of that too. I hope it's all forgotten soon though.

And there were we complaining that Daley was dull at the beginning of the show. And then BAM he gets responsible for the most memorable BB moment of the year so far  Watch Sam do something utterly outrageous now... like NOT SIT ON THE SOFAS AND TALK ABOUT IMMATURE THINGS ALL DAYS LONG ( :o :o :o ).

 I said this to Joseph & Doug the other day - he'll have Sophie pinned up against the sofa shouting Y U KEEP NOMINAAYY ME inaudibly.

Oh and why did Daley only apologise for offense he might've caused to FEMALE viewers? I was offended as well and he didn't even apologise to the male half. SO RUDE.

As much as I hate The Scum they kind of nailed the title of their story about Daley  Pathetic.

Quite FUNNY that the only two universally liked people in the house dislike EACH OTHER.

I'm confused though... why is Jackie up? Callum got 6 (?) votes, Dexter & Gina got 4, whilst Jack & Joe got 3 and Jackie got 2. Is it a double this week?

They just made everyone who received at least a nomination be up for eviction.

GINA2GO but it's obviously going to be Jackie or Jack & Joe.

Some of Daley's answers last night gave the distinct impression that he had been advised what to say. He also used the politicians' line about being sorry "if I have caused offence". In other words, "I don't think what I did was wrong but, if some people disagree, then I apologise to them".

Not liking Gina doing her best Nicki Graham impression whenever she's in the Diary Room now :/

If she beared his girlfriend situation in mind she should've been honest for his sake.

What about HIM bearing HIS girlfriend in mind!? Surely that's the most important thing.

And i agree with most of you about the whole Daley interview thing and his puppy dog eyes <__< Disappointed at Emma for buttering him up like that when he barely even deserved an interview on the show.

Yeah good point made, both should've thought about his girlfriend before doing all of this.

Katie isn't Hazel's girlfriend so why would she need to think about her?

That's better.

Oh so it means it's her own fault. And had Osama Bin Laden felt like not blowing the twin towers up on 11/9, he wouldn't have done that on, say, 12/9. [/exaggerationalertbutitworks]

No of course not, they are both equally to blame. Im not denying what he'd done because that was uncalled for and he deserved getting removed drunk, hungry or not but Hazel did have some blame in that incident too even if it wasn't as bad as Daleys it was still what I'd consider unacceptable.

Okay, I'm not going to get into the whole thing once again since it's gone a full circle now haha.

Jackie is toast, I'd prefer Jack and Joe to go but I can't stand either so I'll be happy whichever of the two likely options happen.

I liked how Emma didn't 100% blame Daley in his interview, but she blamed Hazel a bit too much I think. At least she didn't take the 'Omg Hazel is such a saint! <3' view that far too many people sadly have reverted to, but she almost made it seem like Daley didn't have to apologise :/

Let's not exaggerate. No one is saying Hazel is a saint. I personally think you can't blame Hazel in the slightest for what happened.

Digital Spy are quite like that though. I didn't say you or anyone here was but there are quite a few on DS like that. She isn't to blame for him grabbing her throat of course and he shouldn't have done that no matter how she acted but she isn't innocent at all fundamentally.

It's very rare that an ejected HM gets an interview, so I have no idea why Daley was treated differently and portrayed in a rather positive light. I also find it amusing that now Daley has been ejected it's like "oh it took two to tango so you're not to blame for the flirting" but for weeks when people were discussing Hazel's flirting the "two to tango" thing never came into it and it was as if she was riding him without his consent.

I.Hate.Double.Standards.

*le sigh*

I know but what can you do really. :(

Maybe it generated so much buzz it was better to just interview him and get it over with once and for all?
