Posted July 4, 201312 yr Released on September 1st. Where do you think the comeback single from Sugababes 1.0 will chart? Hear the song here: http://soundcloud.com/mutyakeishasiobhan/flatline I really like this. If the fanbase is strong enough... surely top 15 at least? Edited July 4, 201312 yr by Ne Plus Ultra
July 4, 201312 yr At this early stage I've predicted top 40, I can't see them getting that much support. Radio 1 will probably playlist it though, but I can't see that being enough to get it that high into the chart.
July 4, 201312 yr I don't think top 10 is out of the question, I feel Radio 1 will be on board with them with all the love they have from the indie press. Way too early to tell though...
July 4, 201312 yr It all depends on whether Radio 1 playlist it. They played Lay Down In Swimming Pools a couple of times so I'm hopeful.
July 4, 201312 yr I want to say top ten, but I can see it being around mid 20's...there's just so little buzz around them, no one really seems to care that they're back together.
July 4, 201312 yr Think people are underestimating this - There will be enough media and daytime TV interest in the fact the 'original' Sugababes are back, They have an interesting story to tell and will use that to their advantage, Can also see R1 playing it - Low Top 10 at worst.
July 4, 201312 yr Probably about #7. It will definitely get top 20 I'd imagine just off of fanbase and 'ooh the original Sugababes are back' hype.
July 4, 201312 yr Musically it's on top form, back to the best where they were before 2006. Commercially... I really don't know. I can see them getting a top-10 hit but a reasonable selling album. We'll see! Edited July 4, 201312 yr by Salt Without GMO
July 4, 201312 yr Critically acclaimed no doubt, where it will chart? Deffinatly in the Top 200 (i.e somewhere between 1 and 200)
July 4, 201312 yr It already has 65k plays on SoundHound, the impact is very similar to 'Lay Down...', I think it might smash. Think and definitely HOPE, surely one of the best songs of the year already. Everything is so great in it. The structure, the lyrics, the unpredictability - everything. For those who were waiting for a smash in more of a "normal" meaning - then Get Sexy is just for you.
