Oh, One Direction are already in light red and have decreased by 0.8% from the last kworb update.

I don't think that update was what they call an "OK" update because if it was true than One Direction would be down to #3 (as John apparently has a high popularity number), but according to Livepopbars they are still at #2.

Wouldn't Robin Thicke be #2 he does have a second version

It says John Newman has a popularity number of 0.3221 and One Direction 0.3219 that's why if it was an "OK" update, John Newman should be #2 on iTunes which I don't think he is. It's nothing to do with combined versions.

ok updates and popularity numbers are making my head hurt.

I'm genuinely outraged. At least Antenna and Jack are doing okay I suppose.

Basically if almost everything in the top 100 in the far left column is either light red or light green apart from a few whites and with no dark green or dark red songs, that update is worthless and not correct.

I wonder will 'I Love It' being on Now help to finally rid the chart of its fake(s).
It seems that 1D will sell less than The Wanted Walks Like Rihanna, but if you compare ,,success' of their last promotional single More than this, Best song ever is doing very well.
1 Avicii - Wake Me Up 1.0000

2 One Direction - Best Song Ever 0.3291

Now that's more like it, I was going to avoid looking but seeing this has temporarily restored my faith in the British public

fingers crossed that's the way it stays all week!

I don't think 1D are on course to sell less than Walks Like Rihanna... But you can't compare More Than This to it anyway, it was on an album that sold very well and didn't get a proper push as a single anyway.

Isnt this single just being used to promote the movie? I dont think it matters too much if it does overly well, as long as it goes Top 5 that will be a decent result.

It is shamefully growing on me too, far too catchy. :(

Same here haha, I just saw the video like 3 times on various music channels and it is SO catchy :(

I'm pretty sure it's still being treated as a 'proper' single (being sent to radio, getting a video etc.) so the fact it's promoting a movie instead of an album isn't really an excuse for it to do worse than their previous singles - I don't think it will anyway, I think it will at least do better than 'Live While We're Young'. I don't think it's been confirmed if it's on their next album or not.

I haven't heard it and don't intend to hear it until the chart show.

EDIT: Just Googled it and it is the official lead single from album 3 apparently.

It's not actually confirmed either way yet. I've seen that it's from album 3 but also that it's just for the film, so I've got no idea.

I expect this to be #2 by the time i come home tomorrow.

Surprise Surprise

Is there any baby releated songs in the top 1500?

The Wanted sold over 75 k in their first week, are you sure that 1D will sell more in 6 days? They need 13k per day, so if Avicii is selling right now 3 times more than 1D, how many copies he will sell this week 200k? 250k? Is this possible in his second week?

I'm ignoring the name Professor Green on "Are You Getting Enough?" and just celebrating another T75 hit for Miles Kane. By the sounds of it, all Green did was ask to rap over a Miles Kane demo; and then decided to release it in an attempt to receive praise from NME (in fact the whole album is supposedly for that purpose).

I do quite like the track, but the production is too heavy over Green's rapping.

Yet to hear Diana, 1D or Scouting For Girls yet; putting them all off for as long as possible.
