Personally I think Cedric made a good contribution to the song. Not anyone can 'add a few bells & whistles' to a track. Cedric Gervais is a respected DJ and it's good that he's going to get a second top 40 hit.

A debate over whether someone should be credited or not :drama:

 

(Anyway, Cedric clearly should be credited, the remix is the song being pushed and is contributing to the majority of the sales. The song would hardly be selling anything without the remix - look at National Anthem. Blue Jeans and Ride hardly did much either so why would Summertime Sadness be any different?)

It seems a lot of my favourite songs at the moment are battling it out at the bottom of the iTunes top 40... 'Home', 'Summertime Sadness' and 'It's Time'... I hope they can all get there officially in the next couple of weeks because they're all solid tracks. Would be nice to clear some of the deadwood out too.
