Agnetha Fältskog is still the last female to be in the top 10 albums on the subject of BuzzJack gays :P
Great to see 'Summertime Sadness' in surprisingly high, I'll expect to see it in the top 20 soon ^_^ Surprisingly good boost for the album too, it might end up scraping 3x Platinum now :D
I'm scared to look at the sales in the album chart can't we just jump to September now??
I really hope Toploader don't go top 40, it's annoying to see really old songs get the 59p effect and keep entering the charts pushing newer records out

If they can't even defeat old songs, then doesn't that suggest they don't deserve a T40 place?

Texas Geatest Hits #97 :o

Plus the Conversation is back in the charts. The conversation era has already performed far beyond any of my original expectations.

Olly Murs still continues to impress me this week with his chart runs,Dear Darlin now looks like a 400,000 + seller. Hopefully, right place, right time single can manage top 20 when released and secure overall sales of a minimum 100,000.

I wonder where Dance Your Pain Away charted this week with the release of the single.

Singles

55 N 1 CHVRCHES Gun

At least it did better than "Recover" I guess, but should have been a Top 40 hit.

Let's hope "Lies" goes and smashes the Top 10 in September (I can but hope). :(

Lana Del Ray at 82, not bad I do hope this is a good sign the remix will give her a big hit!

I agree with you about Toploader - their cover of Dancing In The Moonlight is really inferior to the original by High Broom

I thought it was King Harvest who did the original? IIRC from the one time I heard it, it was dull.

I was confused when I first heard Toploader were going to cover 'Dancing In The Moonlight' because I thought they meant the Thin Lizzy song, which is obviously different.

I'm not sure I agree. It's an unfair competition.

Then again, I'm not sure any song "deserves" anything.

Are the Simon & Garfunkel and Carole King albums on sale in shops? Can't find any other reason for their re-entries.

Are the Simon & Garfunkel and Carole King albums on sale in shops? Can't find any other reason for their re-entries.

There's been a sale on for The Essential albums, I suppose Simon & Garfunkel are just late to have an effect due to their first Greatest Hits being such a strong trickle seller.

I think that Troublemaker will not be in the Longest running entries the next week..It was No.100 the last week and many songs from Now 85 will be back in The Top 100. Gagnam Style and Hall Of Fame are very close to stay a whole year in the official Top 100. They released last September..
Who on earth is still buying Gangnam Style  It stopped being huge around February time...
