August 17, 201410 yr Author And yet it's alright for One Direction to do it, I'm assuming? #doublestandards...
August 17, 201410 yr He might get a nice boost from X-factor, but he continues to sell throughout the year too. All 3 of his albums have sold bucketloads, a promo slot on X-factor won help that much. Anyway, he's never managed to top his debut for me, In Case You Didn't Know was a pretty big drop in quality, RPRT was much better though.
August 17, 201410 yr Troublemaker, Heart Skips A Beat and Please Don't Let Me Go all made #1 without X-Factor... Also all of his albums have sold 1 million or close to it, they aren't going to sell 1 million in a week as a result of a boost
September 24, 201410 yr Author And he's back and ready to go again...a pre-order page on HMV in Japan (http://www.hmv.co.jp/artist_Olly-Murs_000000000441996/item_Never-Been-Better_6003695) confirms both the album title and release date of the new album which is now called 'Never Been Better' released on 24th November. A new single is on its way soon and Olly is on Greg James' Radio 1 show next Friday...so good to have him back at last!
September 24, 201410 yr Next Friday :o Ooh can't wait. Troublemaker, DD & RPRT were all fabulous singles last era so anything to keep that momentum going would be brill. Edited September 24, 201410 yr by Rob S
September 24, 201410 yr Looking forward to this so much! I'm not expecting anything quite as good as the RPRT era, but if it can come close that'd be brilliant! He's improved with every era for me so far, so hopefully he can keep that going!
September 25, 201410 yr I've envisaged for a while now that the first single would feature Tinie Tempah... I will laugh if this actually happens.
September 25, 201410 yr 'Never Been Better'? His album titles always seem so...straightforward and devoid of any concept. Regardless, I'm looking forward to hearing what he comes up with as he grew a lot on me with his last era.
September 25, 201410 yr I'm hoping this next era has good singles - I find with him that his singles impress me yet I'm not a fan of his albums!

September 28, 201410 yr Author Big Google hangout at 9pm tomorrow night: http://smarturl.it/OllyMHangout :puke2: at the idea of a Demi Lovato collaboration. Admittedly this is coming from the man who thought a Flo Rida collaboration was going to make him a laughing stock but...why? He's 30 now, this is just cheapening him. At least working with Travie McCoy is closer to what he's about as an artist. Sony need to stop trying to turn him into a solo One Direction at every bloody turn. On a totally different note...he and The Saturdays have now both worked with Travie, Sean Paul and Flo Rida. Nice little homogeny there I thought ;)
September 29, 201410 yr That Demi collab better be an original and not a cover of the dreadful James Morrison/Jessie J collaboration, like I'm fearing it will be! :( But obviously very, VERY excited about this!
September 29, 201410 yr Really hope that is the tracklist! Can't wait to hear the Demi Lovato track! Love her! Will definitely be on the google hangout at 9 tonight! Can't wait! :yahoo:
