Nice to see some exciting weeks coming up on the singles chart, and September promises to be good for albums!

*11th

The dates given in this thread for singles are always a day out for some reason.

Ellie Goulding vs Katy Perry the next week. It will be an interesting battle..
Some more single releases:

NONONO - 'Pumpin Blood' out 15 September

Oohh, so this is actually happening. They've been using the music as soundbites on several different channels. Think it's being used on E4 for one of their shows, and it's definitely being used on Smash Hits TV for one of their adverts (if you can call it that, it's moreso a visual jingle  ).

Could well be a hit in waiting. Of course, we heard it here first in BJSC all thanks to Arrs.

The third single from Orchestral Manoeuvres In the Dark English Electric album will be Night Café, released 16th September.

The single will be released digitally and as a limited edition CD. The tracklist collects all the b-sides from the English Electric era as well as a new track 'Kill Me' and 4 Night Café remixes.

Tracklist:

1: Night Café

B-Sides:

2: Kill Me

3: The Great White Silence

4: Time Burns

5: No Man's Land

6: Frontline

Remixes:

7: Night Café (Vile Electrodes 'B-side the C-side' Remix)

8: Night Café (Metroland's Nighthawks Remix)

9: Night Café (Taoyoyo Remix)

10: Night Café (Sin Cos Tan Remix)

on Scandipop

Good to see it getting a push though, seems like the sort of song that could catch on here with a decent push!

Amazon seem to think Example is releasing a Greatest Hits album tomorrow.

http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00DP5K...;pf_rd_i=297457

I presume that's a wrong date though, surely he won't put it out without any publicity?

It's just a cash-in release from Ministry of Sound as Example has now left them. Wouldn't surprise me if he doesn't even know about it.

Florida Georgia Line ft. Nelly - Cruise is released on 1st September with the album Here's To The Good Times following on the 2nd

Was wondering why this had gone from Spotify, glad it's got an actual release now

Diana Vickers will release her new single 'Music To Make Boys Cry' on September 15th, the same day as the album which is also called 'Music To Make Boys Cry'. It is confirmed in the YouTube description of the music video for the single.

That's a LOT of B-sides!

Is 'Lose Yourself To Dance' still confirmed as the next Daft Punk single? There's been no airplay, promotion or anything.

Florida Georgia Line ft. Nelly - Cruise is released on 1st September with the album Here's To The Good Times following on the 2nd

This had better flop horrifically, it's one of the worst songs I've heard in a long time :manson: I usually love country too.

I could actually see 'Cruise' being a fairly big hit here! I can so easily envisage Capital playing this every two hours - not sure if Radio 1 would latch on to this though, seems fairly 'uncool' but the kids will love it.
It's record of the week on Radio 2 so I would assume that they'll be playlisting it next week, probably a-listing it, so low top 75 seems its destiny unless people really latch onto it.
