 381. Jason Derulo - Talk Dirty (feat. 2 Chainz) (Pre-order)

I can imagine this easily reaching #1 with sales of over 120,000 when released, the fantastic pre-orders are already showing this is a possibility. It's already got Capital FM airplay and I'm sure Radio 1 will playlist it soon too.

I really hope this does go to #1. It's a shame 'The Other Side' couldn't get there but it'd be criminal if both of these singles missed out while 'Don't Wanna Go Home' got there.

Exciting!!!!

1. Miley Cyrus 1.0000

2. Avicii 0.7028

Fingers crossed that miracles do happen!!

I can't imagine anything worse......

Imagine this then:

:ne: 1. One Direction ft. Miley Cyrus

:)

Well now Tinie is definitely not going to be top 2 I really hope he can hang onto #3 (and he should be able to, he does still have a big lead over #4) and get decent longevity. #3 seems to be the glass ceiling for trap songs with both 'Harlem Shake' and 'Trampoline' (probably) peaking there :P I'd love to see 'Earthquake' replicate that but I doubt that will go much higher than low top 10.

'Talk Dirty' should give 2 Chainz his third top 10 hit, 17 weeks after his first (assuming its release date given in the New Release Schedule is correct). Probably nowhere near a record but still impressive.

New KOL track is the instant grat song from their album pre-order if anyone is wondering! to #47 now (such a climb)

Wow at OneRepublic heading for the top 40 :o It is strange how they've seemed to fade out of relevance in the UK while they're still massive in the USA but it looks like this could return them to relevance.

Secrets should have been huge :( Easily their best!

I don't understand why they cancelled its release here. The Ralph Lauren advert that used the song was being played a lot and I'm sure radio would have picked it up if they hadn't cancelled the release. :(

I think Secrets would've done a lot better than All the Right Moves, had it been chosen as the lead single instead (I don't think it even got on R1's playlist either? - EDIT: Apparently they cancelled the release, oops)

One bad song going to #1 does not justify other songs going to #1 just because they're not quite as atrocious!

 116. Things We Lost in the Fire - Bastille

I really hope it starts to gain more momentum soon :(

It would be very pleasant to see Ellie Goulding with a No.1 song. It should've happenned 10 months ago (Anything Could Happen )

10 months since that excellent song? :o

It really deserved #1 not #4 but I don't think Burn deserves to outpeak it.

32. C O O L - Le Youth

37. Wait For Me - Kings of Leon

54. Burn [PRE-ORDER] - Ellie Goulding

124. Let Me Go - Haim

161. Think of You - MS MR

167. Without You (feat. Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs) - Dillon Francis

199. Right Place Right Time - Olly Murs

Great progress for Le Youth (and also MS MR :o)

Didn't ACH reach #5 for 2 weeks?

How many weeks was Gangnam Style in the top 10 for? it went up and down the top 10 of iTunes like a yo-yo for months!

17 IIRC! 3-1-2-3-3-5-7-6-7-6-8-9-9-6-3-3-9

Oh gwon Le Youth! ( to #31 now). Looks like my fear it'd die completely after it was no longer Nick Grimshaw's Record of the Week turned out to be unfounded, it's at least looking like a minor top 40 now. Really should be at least top 20 though.

I was about to say 'oops at Haim' but just checked and that one is also an album pre-order track (I thought I didn't recognise the title), so not really doing too bad considering. I think they've left their album release far too late, the hype for them is more or less dead now. Not heard the new single yet but 'Forever', 'Don't Save Me' and 'Falling' are all great.

Dare I say it, the new single is even better.  Radio 1 will be definitely fully backing it (Zane Lowe, Huw Stephens, Phil & Allice and Greg James all rave about it) and I hope that will hopefully give Haim a top 20...? And imo the hype is still the same as even more people has got to know them since the start of the year thanks to the rave reviews for every track they (slowly) release and with them being more known as a pretty brilliant live act (they played Glastonbury 3 times!).
