August 5, 201313 yr She's top 10 on airplay but that's with very little support from either Radio 1 or Capital. The more chart-influencing radio stations aren't what's putting her in the top 10, it's stuff like being A-listed by Radio 2 (biggest radio station in the country but irrelevant to the charts). Blisted on radio 1 not too bad airplay!

And (I assume) we've got the take 3 competition in this hour too :( I wonder if she mentioned to Lawson & The Wanted that theyre current singles only managed 3 and 6 weeks in the top 40 respectively!!
August 5, 201313 yr I just don't *get* La La La, Let Her Go or even Get Lucky. :( Nice songs, but really, so many weeks top ten? And well done to Calvin although it's a bit less impressive when you remember he only released the album after his 6th single (if you include We Found Love) and he gets absolutely hammered on Capital and Radio 1 and he's also a DJ. If it was someone like Katy Perry or Bruno Mars getting 9 singles into the top ten it'd be absolutely incredible and madness but with a DJ it just doesn't impress me. :/ Why??? Acts like Katy Perry sounds so good because 'producers/djs' produce the melodies in their songs it shows the talent in producing their songs so djs deserve as much credit and the singers. Although Bruno does write his songs (the smeezingtons).
