RIDIC that they've just issued a warning for retelling the story of how Ron's career ended. Utterly ridic.

She had a sex change, I don't think that leaves much to the imagination, so she doesn't need to go into the small details about what happened at all. :lol: It's just offputting. I would rather hear Charlotte ranting and raving for hours than hear two minutes of a discussion like that.

 

And disgraceful that Carol's been given a warning. :(

I actually can't at Carol getting a warning for that :manson: They're FAR too paranoid still because of the 2007 race row, it's utterly ridiculous to warn her saying something which she only said because she was telling Louis what Ron had done. If they're so wary of racism, don't have the man behind a colossal racism scandal.

 

Also, I wouldn't say the series is weak at such, just quite average and not too interesting. Carol, Charlotte, Courtney and Lauren are very interesting and I also like Mario, Vicky and Sophie but too many of the housemates seem to just be there... But it is only day 3, I'll just sit and hope that the likes of Bruce, Dustin, Abz and Danielle do something soon, good or bad.

The silly thing is while Carol repeated something that Ron had said and Big Brother bleeped the word out, Big Brother then repeated what Carol had said (basically doing exactly what she did with Ron) without bleeping the word out. How hypocritical! :manson: I think people watching are way more offended by what Big Brother did than what Carol did.

I don't know if this is the best place to put this, but there's not really a thread (or is there?), and she's relevant to this just now... But QUEEN Carol has quite Loose Women as their longest serving panellist. :( She revealed it in her Sunday People article which she wrote before entering the house.

Why did Ron Atkinson go in the house anyway? A disgraced ex-football manager/pundit. Wonder if he'll be confronted by any of the housemates about why he was sacked from ITV.

Ron does want to leave already, which is ridiculous. I knew he'd be the sort to not enjoy it at all... It's stupid to pre-judge on his age (more than anything) but if you look at Ken Russell, he walked after like 3 days. I don't know if Ron will walk, but he could quite easily go on Wednesday anyway (only the third male in BB history to be evicted first - John in UBB and Andrew Stone in CBB9), although it will probably be close between him and Danielle as I don't imagine either will have fans. Danielle seems quite interesting though so people might want to see her.

for the last spot but I doubt any of those will be a threat to Ron/Danielle for the dubious 'honour'.

 

And also apparently Bruce is the lowest paid CBB housemate ever, he's only getting 15k apparently :o Quite odd given that along with Vicky, Carol and probably Dustin he's the most famous in that house!

If Ron walks, he will surely be one of the most pointless housemates of all time?! Including George, Laura, Maysoon, and Jonathan (who? exactly).

I'm only catching up now (up to mid way through Friday) and I just know I'm already way too biased. There's nothing that will make me not love Charlotte, seeing as I've worshipped her for the past 2 years on Geordie Shore. Her entrance and conversation with Ron was HILARIOUS. But, I'm gonna hate Mario regardless because he's such a c**t on TOWIE.

 

Courtney seems fab, Sophie seems funny too but they both just ignore her in that house. Lauren's so expression-less constantly which is actually very amusing.

I always wondered this, because I thought the real money desperate ones would just leave like 5 days in. There were people like Nigel Havers in I'm A Celeb or Ken Russell in CBB and they walked really quickly so it wouldn't be fair to pay them fully.

Absolutely loving Carol in tonight's episode, and Sophie, but they're really the only two people I care about at all. :( Carol's just AMAZING when she's pissed, loved the comment she made to Danielle earlier... "Get a f***ing glass of wine down your neck!" :lol: I don't want those two to be enemies, though. I can already sense some form of friction between the pair of them. :( The rest of the housemates (apart from Mario's body) are just horrendous. This possibly could be one of the worst series' of CBB.

Yeah it isn't particularly boring, there are some interesting characters in there but it has to be one of the weakest starts to a series I can recall in quite a while.

Yeah I agree, it SHOULD be great but it's just... not. Ron and Louie are the only ones I can't stand, but basically all the others aside from Carol, Lauren, Courtney and Charlotte are just 'nice'. I mean I like Mario, Vicky and Sophie but they just don't have a lot to them. I'm just not that interested in it, I'll watch it but I have about the same level of interest as I grew to have to the regular BB towards the end when it became apparent Gina and Charlie would have no chance.

Oh, I loved BB even at the end really! It is making me miss that series, made me realise just how strong it was! Probably my favorite since BB8 :o

I didn't reallly enjoy last series THAT much, it wasn't the worst but it wasn't the best. It was the best C5 civilian series by miles (but I think the last CBB with Rylan, Claire, Razor etc. was the best C5 series overall) but I just had little interest in it aside from Gina obviously being fabulous. Too many people I didn't like, Jack & Joe, Dexter and Hazel were all unbearable in the last few weeks.

 

This series hopefully gets going, it has only been a few days so we can only hope that Carol and Charlotte stir things up and keep being amazing.
