Miley has always good ballads and "The Wrecking Ball "couldn't be a bad exception of her discography. It's very good and i think that it will be her second smash hit in U.k..I'm looking forward to her video..

Miley tweeted around 30 minutes ago:

About 5 hours until #wreckingballpremiersonvevo

So the music video should be released between 7 and 8pm UK time. :D

WHY IS SHE NAKED? there's like no artistically legit reason for her to be naked. TBH the video should've just been the headshot throughout to capture her true emotion.
I've pretty much hated every last bit of the album campaign so far, but this video is actually very decent and the first good thing to come from it all. Apart from the licking, it's quite effective and sells the song to me a little more.

And people thought her VMA's performance was distasteful? :drama:

Agreed with Dan, there's literally no reason why she has to be naked, and it just looks pathetic.

LMAO. Stay pressed haters. Stay pressed! :D

I love how people are getting so wound up by her and her videos lately. It's getting the attention her and the label wanted! The thing is though, behind the camera I can genuinely see her laughing at everyone! You're all buying into it just as much as those who like it are. Performance on X Factor this year is on lock FOR SURE and this will be a big hit.

Heard this the other day I think and it's worse than We Can't Stop.

And thats saying something.

Miley has understanden that soft porn is what will sell her music (for now). There is no artistic reason behind it, she just wants those big headlines. Take the naked shots away and the video wouldn't get half the coverage and view it gets.

This video is a bit much for me. I'm not shocked, I simply find it/her gross.

The song is still good anyway.

Wrecking Ball is a decent song, but that video demeans it and her. Comes off as very cheap and desperate. If that's how she wants people to see her then so be it.

The song itself is fantastic, but the video is just horrendous. It doesn't really matter if people are talking about it, though, because naturally we're all sitting here talking about every other artist's music, whether we like or dislike it. What you're basically saying is that by being so boisterous and out there, she's craving extra attention that she would have already got had she made a tasteful, sophisticated video like she should have. This whole look just cheapens the era, and makes her look like the biggest $l*t going. Bangers tho xoxo

I feel like she is trying to mimic Christina's "Stripped" era. But when Christina acted like a $l*t it was at least hot.

I love how many people just aren't GETTING it.

If RiRi was releasing these songs and coming up with these ideas for her 2013 album campaign I would be on board but her voice is so awful, it's the only bad thing about Wrecking Ball and it lets it down a lot.

This very much.

I find it funny how everyone is throwing all this hate on her saying stuff like OH POOR BILLY etc. while most male pop artists can get half-naked and dry hump a stripper and nobody will say a single f***ing word.

f*** that Vogue cover!

I am sorry, I really do love the song and it could have easily got so many people back on board who have been put off by her antics but the video is just a joke. There is literally no reason to be completely naked and no reason for licking a f***ing hammer, it completely takes away any meaning behind the song and just makes her look pathetic.
The nakedness adds to the emotion of the song and what it means lyrically so I can at the very least understand that and make an excuse for. However, there is just no explanation for the hammer molestation :(
I kind of just find it all f***ing hilarious! Like Jonjo said, it is getting her attention and exposure in the biggest way possible. I am not sure her album will be a huge seller, but I genuinely think Wrecking Ball could be a second #01 for her in the UK! :o

I don't thin there's a chance that ' Wrecking Ball ' will go to number one in the UK, I think the release is incredibly messed up! I assume it will be released on the day off the album as ' Wrecking Ball ' has not been listed as a single in the UK. It would have been much better if they released ' Wrecking Ball ' on air.

Oh, I wasn't aware of the release date etc. but I still think it can be a huge hit for her. Radio will eat it up.
I'm past caring that it's all so contrived or whatever, because she's bringing the hilarity and most of all the tunes. The video isn't even that bad, the hammer acts are a bit 'eh' but the nakedness is fine for the song and sells it a bit. It's certainly not as try-hard or contrived as We Can't Stop.
