Disappointed at how much this has sold in the UK tbh Thought she'd be at least gold by now. Shame as it's such a brilliant album :(

Surprised no one talked about her performance on the Billboard Music Awards yet! As a result of it 'Love on the Brain' is now #16 (and rising) on US iTunes. I hope this means LOTB is the next single as it is the best choice left imo.

Also, I loved her look!

She absolutely NAILED that performance! I was slayed left right and center. Next single please! Proving the GP she CAN serve vocals

OH MY JESUS HER VOCALS ON THIS PERFORMANCE <3

It's amazing when you look at old performances and just how her voice was on record even at earlier points of her career compared to now!

Agreed. I was slain when I first heard it!

Here's the performance from her VEVO page.

Didn't know where else to post this but the entire US top 5 on Spotify is Drake/Rihanna :D

01. One Dance (Drake)

02. Too Good (Drake & Rihanna)

03. Needed Me (Rihanna)

04. This Is What You Came For (Calvin Harris & Rihanna)

05. Controlla (Drake)

King and Queen of Spotify :w00t:

I'm still coping with the fact that Riri rihjected 'Cheap Thrills' . Would've been her 15th US #1 for sure and it's about time she had another album campaign with more #1's than just the lead single (even though 'Work's American chart performance slayed multiple lives and snatched everybody's weaves).

I know it doesn't REALLY fit on 'Anti' but having it tacked on wouldn't have been the end of the world.

weirdly I think I prefer Sia's version now I think of how Rihanna would sound on it. Plus it is nothing like anything on Anti.

'Woo' is by FAR the most under appreciated on the album! SOOOO GOOD!

'Woo' is good BUT most under appreciated definitely has to go to 'Yeah, I Said It'

My fave lyric on the whole album: 'take it home on your camera phone'...makes me laugh every time, I thought the term 'camera phone' had been dead for years now that pretty much every phone has a camera?!

Let's rank the album, yes? Yes.

FOR THE MOMENT it's this.

Woo

Consideration

Never Ending

Close to You

Desperado

Yeah, I Said It

Kiss It Better

Love on the Brain

Needed Me

Work

Higher

Same Old Mistakes

James Joint

The singles are all pretty low right now 'cause I'm rediscovering the album tracks.

ZERO regrets at putting SOM so low. I like it but it feels so unimaginative considering it's a literal cover with no twist, + it could have been a minute shorter as the middle 8 of the song is the highlight and now I have to deal with 2 minutes of dragging.

The album is 1 year old today! Can't believe we finally got the album a year ago today. It's definitely her best album.

I really hope we will get a new album this year, preferably around June/July. But before that I hope we get a LOTB grammy performance and a LOTB video. I know I'm praying for too many things; after all we're talking about Rihanna, the queen of self-sabotage.
