Martin Garrix and (even though it's not cheap at all, it just ticks a lot of boxes) Youngblood Hawke both got 1 point more by my count :kink: But in both cases, especially the latter, I wasn't sure how to quantify 'substantial Internet coverage' so Janet had the highest undisputed score yes.

10 or 22 depending on if you count it as having substantial Internet exposure.

 

'Animals' was close to a veto at one point but we ultimately decided against it. I could see it being the new 'Million Voices' UK chart wise.

So you do think your entry is cheap then? :kink: I was only mentioning Little Daylight asking if you did have an entry vetoed this contest. I know Nicky Romero and Krewella are cheaper than Little Daylight even though I don't think many people at all will have heard 'Legacy', but my point was that you were saying that I entered the "cheapest option" following a veto when in fact you entered a much cheaper song in my opinion following your veto.

No I stumbled across one of her songs, a different one, a couple of months ago on youtube. She was the support act for MKS last week which is what pushed me towards Little Nikki Says rather than the one I was originally considering and she didn't perform.

I just can't seem to like any song of hers since Ache :(

I've been keeping an eye on her since 'Where Am I Coming From'. Seeing her live pushed me from that song to go with Little Nikki Says as it is epic live.

Casper MUST qualify. I've always wanted to send him but never had the courage to do so.

So I'm from PJ-way and there every song is anonymous. So this whole format is new and scary for me.

I think it's difficult to tell. We often have this sort of debate but, as this primarily a music based site, a lot of an individual's favourite posters are those who have similar tastes to them anyway and so logically your votes tend to mirror that a bit also. I don't think people vote for songs they hate just because of who sent the track but I do think it's likely that people will give songs by certain countries more chance to grow because they know they usually have a lot in common.

It's technically not meant to affect it in any way and you don't really see a trend occurring on this song contest to show hints of that in this forum.

At least with Silas confirming Little Nikki you got to send your 'song of the year by a country mile' in Beldina :P Usually I tend to do better in BJSC with the songs I personally love the most so it might be a blessing in disguise!

Voted. One of the weakest semis I've been in for a while. Only one of those tracks ranked higher than 'good' (from a rather unexpected source I might add!)

Well I'm glad that you've realised that my entry is not the cheapest in this contest and that yours is cheaper than mine. I know Alesso is the more known artist worldwide but Janet is more hyped on this forum in my opinion which I understand you didn't realise and Alesso isn't even the main artist of my song anyway.

Voted! I picked 10 favourites out of Semi 2 fairly easily and have had them on repeat for the last couple of hours, some VERY good songs! I've predicted one song in my top three to DNQ, I hope it doesn't though!

How many points did We Come Running score? I'm not all that surprised, view count aside, I even heard it on the radio quite recently! Possibly my 'cheapest' entry since WALK THE MOON :o

its also always fun to see songs you were agonising over entered jut so i can see how good or bad my judgement has been! (here's hoping classixx flops then oops)
