Arctic Monkeys doing surprisingly well there! As has Midnight City (although both SHOULD be in the top 10, but nonetheless)

Awwww, kinda hoped that Midnight City would scrape the top 10 this year so slightly disappointed with it's position. Even though top 20 is clearly GREAT for a song that really didn't set the UK alight.

We lose two more of our male-vocalled songs unfortunately, leaving Mr Brightside as the winner of that particular title.

worst :(

14 12 2003 Beyoncé (feat. Jay-Z) - Crazy In Love 338 (20 - 17 - 29 - 24 - 15 - 16 - 12 - 14)

13 29 2005 Girls Aloud - Biology 340 (62 - 130 - 46 - 6 - 35 - 27 - 29 - 13)

Unfortunately Crazy In Love couldn't quite get to a new peak, falling two places on last year and finishes its run without ever being inside the top 10, yet never out of the top 30. Everyone knows it as Beyoncé's unique debut single that captivated the whole of 2003, possibly even further into the future. It is the ultimate in RnB pop, as far as wide acclaim goes, Beyoncé's clearly never outdone it as not one of her other singles has even come close to this in this countdown, most of them have divided her audience while Crazy In Love does nothing but unite it. Iconic. Goodbye 2003, we'll miss you. From this, to 50 Cent, Blu Cantrell R Kelly, to the likes Evanescence and t.A.T.u, it was a year with the potential to occasionally throw up a gem for the ages. Buzzjack has done quite well at that.

Biology loses the Girls Aloud war (I know, I wasn't expecting it either) and comes in at lucky for some #13. A fierce as a girlband song can be, I can only think of one word to describe it all the way through, and that word would probably be phenomenal. It never ever calms down, and it's one of those few Girls Aloud tracks where I can fully get the hype with it because of that, I like frenzies if they're controlled right. This is the highest it has been since it got what looks like a freak top 10 a few years back. It was only 6 points off getting back in this time though, that's how close it is around these parts.

Crazy In Love is so overrated. It's a nice little pop song but not the masterpiece that some make it out to be so great to see it miss the top 10.

Biology is one of GA's finest moments!

12 158 2004 Anastacia - Left Outside Alone 341 (26 - 10 - 13 - 35 - 14 - 106 - 158 - 12)

11 55 2007 Girls Aloud - Call The Shots 342 (30 - 10 - 16 - 17 - 55 - 11)

Yeah, I'm not quite sure how to explain THIS revival. Anastacia I mean, I'll get to Call The Shots in a moment. It's suddenly leaped up from obscurity back to where it used to be a few years ago. Josh hasn't reappeared and I haven't seen a big influx of Ana fans, and Sick And Tired got a huge boost too so it's not just this song. I'm not such a big fan of her myself but this is her most tolerable song (well I say that but let's roll with it for now and let's pretend I'm Outta Love doesn't exist for the purposes of that statement), and clearly the one that's gonna be loved most. This is the big shock of the top 20 I think, please react to that nicely/with outrage because that'll make my day.

Call The Shots meanwhile recovers from a dip that's still quite big, if not as big as Left Outside Alone's, to almost make it back to the top 10 (anyone find it interesting how both these songs have peaks of #10 so they didn't even need to be bunching up against it?). It is one of the canon of Girls Aloud songs that I do accept and like a lot, but I was not expecting it to beat Biology at all, that it did it by only two points is someway understandable, it's more recent and was probably more of a hit than Biology but it doesn't feel like it has all that appeal. I know where its fans are hiding though (hi Bré) so clearly they helped to surpass Biology in some way.

Top 10 tomorrow. I know you're all brimming with excitement. It could go to any of them (this may or may not be a lie)!!!!

I know a lot of people think of Call The Shots the 'best pop song ever made'. It's lovely and a fantastic song but I wouldn't go that far, it clearly has its huge loons though. Left Outside Alone is a classic, it's never a song that I LOVED and I prefer Sick and Tired but it's strong.

YAY at Euphoria debuting in the top ten :D A Eurovision song has never done well in this thing before!

Predictions:

01 Lady Gaga - Bad Romance

02 Robyn & Kleerup - With Every Heartbeat

03 Loreen - Euphoria

04 Britney Spears - Toxic

05 Killers - Mr Brightside

06 David Guetta (feat. Sia) - Titanium

07 Robyn - Dancing On My Own

08 Amy Winehouse - Back To Black

09 Madonna - Hung Up

10 Rihanna (feat. Calvin Harris) - We Found Love

I can't see Euphoria winning as it's too recent, Bad Romance will probably re-claim #1 with GaGa hype this year.

Great to see Biology in the top 15, though i would personally rate it above Call the Shots

I know a lot of people think of Call The Shots the 'best pop song ever made'.

One more here if you weren't already counting me. Too low. Needless to say, extremely pleased to see it higher than 'Biology' (which I still don't think I've ever even heard or if I have it made no impression on me).

So ROBYN is the only act with two tracks in the top 10?

TRUE QUEEN OF BUZZJACK. *.*

Buzzjack, stabbing me in the heart, with Beyoncé just four points off repeaking/six off making the top 10  An excellent set of four there - I didn't like "Left Outside Alone" until a few years ago, but that and "Bring Me To Life" (which sound quite similar) clicked around the same time for me.

Of the 10 left, I'd like a "Euphoria" or "We Found Love" win! :D

Edited by THEO.

Both of these Girls Aloud songs are really overrated, Love Machine, No Good Advice & Sound of the Underground easily wins for me out of their discography.

I would be happy with anything but Euphoria, Bad Romance or With Every Heartbeat winning, if just to make this a bit less predictable (and the fact that they are undoubtedly the three most overrated songs on the forum bar none)

Hadn't even noticed that Dancing On My Own was top ten, I do love the track but it's not particularly an all time classic of mine. With Every Heartbeat is however. I do think that it will probably be Bad Romance winning this year, it's my 2nd favourite of the 10 tracks left. 6 are in my all time top 100 so very few complaints at this final 10.

Wouldn't be too bad of a result. For once my no 1 is inside top ten (Euphoria) and four other great songs also inside top ten (Bad Romance, We Found Love, Titanium, and Hung Up). All ten are actually quite decent but for me the bottom two songs are BackTo Black and Mr Brightside. And I do get it why people like Toxic more than Everytime but for me it has always been the other way round by far. Euphoria to win but I think it is too polarizing/new to win, but we'll see.

Gaga, Madonna or Robyn (Dancing but either would do) winning in that order would be brilliant, not that Madge has a chance. A solid top 10 though even though i would have preferred Call The Shots in there over Mr Brightside which isn't even close to being The Killers' best song let alone in the top 10 of the decade.
That Top 10 is utterly flawless, wow.
Toxic is easily my favourite of that lot. I do like the others a lot, but none are my faves of each artist really :(.
