New Releases: 16th December

B.o.B - Underground Luxury

The Beatles - Bootleg Recordings 1963 [17/12]

We The Kings - Somewhere Somehow

With Bieber pushed back a week, there is a full one new album out this week. It's download only so probably not even going to make the top 100. Exciting week folks!

EDIT: Although actually, not in the release schedule thread, but I see a newly released album by We The Kings is #6 currently. Added that in. Perhaps we will have a top 100 new entry after all.

EDIT2: Digging a bit further down iTunes there's also a new B.o.B album. That was quiet.

Are they even still a thing :teresa:

Don't go chasing waterfalls

Oh, you wouldn't be interested, they're far too talented for your tastes (Saturdays filth).

Leona still selling so well on the iTunes album chart! Great to see! Love this album.

Err, Stooshe's album has sold more than the Saturdays' latest offering. Both totals are completely dismal though.

I'll just do a Top 40 next time. :P

Corr, those price reductions are looking great. Hoping Tom Odell can benefit a lot from a £3.99 pricing. Well, all those #1 albums that need sales boosts need help (Haim, The 1975).
That Foo Fighters GH has ridiculous longevity. The most successful ones these days seem to be those where you don't realise how strong the artists's back catalogue is until it comes out.

I'm sure it's approaching the 900k mark, so it could pass 1m in 2-3 years time. That's true, although I dare say when the first greatest hits from Rihanna or Beyoncé is released, they'll be big sellers.

I may have to take a listen to the Foo Fighters one - for me, they're a band which I know more of their songs than I think do.

I suspect it will happen sooner than that if they release a new album as planned this year

Oh so THAT'S why Lorde is suddenly so high on iTunes again. Slightly disappointing rly but sales are sales. Hope it can re-enter the top 40 officially.

By the way I'm going to start the 2014 iTunes Album Chart thread at the end of this week since it's the final chart week of 2013 - also going to try and start doing regular updates of the top 100 again, though I gave up very quickly the last time I tried this so I'm not promising anything
