Oh gosh no! It's by a graphic artist called Skip Hursh & I've always thought it would make a good logo for something like this... I wouldn't even know where to begin making something like that!

 

I always just try and keep text on theme and that's about it.

Okay I went with one of my favourite songs probably ever. <3

I've entered a song I absolutely LOVE, easily my favourite of my (floppy) UP entries to date. Doubt it'll be taken but one never knows.

I'm on the hunt for a second choice. Someone else submitted my first choice.

 

This hasn't happened me before - I'm in two minds about how well I want my first choice to do in the competition, now.

 

One one had I want it to win so I can share in the private glory of find it. On the other hand I'll get that "It could have been me" feeling.

Now I'm thinking if I should've sent a song that I love more by the same artist... UGH but that one is less likely to get more votes. An eternal struggle - to send something slightly more accessible that you like a bit less or something which you like the most of the two but will do worse. :(

Now I have two choices and I dont know which to go with.

I have a song, but I fear it'll get completely lost in the crowd and finish bottom 5. I still want to send it though, as its different from everything else I've sent so far. Probably not one that will appeal to the pop voters.

It's kinda difficult to say and it's at your discretion - look at the topics posted in this sub-forum to see what kind of artists would count, but also bear in mind that if they have a topic with more than a couple of replies then they're not likely to be very unknown, which is the other dimension of the 'spirit of the competition'!

Ok, I sent in my entry... I made up my mind while I was writing the PM to Dandy and I changed my entry from an easy top 20 to a .... well, you'll see :D

It's definitely not something that could win (or do well :P ), but hey, I need to beat a 30th place and I'm all good!

 

Got mine on repeat now and it's actually one of the best things i've heard. HAS to win (or come 2nd).
