Fingers crossed! I love the Jessie Ware remix, although she seems to have some curse on her preventing her from doing well in the charts or something. :(

Maybe that'll change if Disclosure release 'Confess To Me'.

It's just had a boost because of the VMA's performance as it was down at #220 yesterday. It'll probably fall back down unless it gets Radio 1 playlisting, but yeah Heart are the only station playing it.

So these modern, UK, inclusive stations aren't brave enough to play a song about ... equality yet. How times have changed :rolleyes:

I'm sure if it was a song about female empowerment or a second equality song by Kanye West, they'd be all over it ... so what's the difference here? Quite annoying. How bad are we gonna look if this flops in the #100s.

Choice FM have been playing it too. I've been hearing it on there since the beginning of the year, but it's too small a station to have any impact really.

Yeah, hopefully. I've been hearing that song a fair bit recently, so they should definitely use it as their next single imo.

I feel like the song hasn't been "sent" to radio (or however it works), because I can't see Radio 1 not playlisting a Macklemore song right now.

Or perhaps the radio stations don't think it is any good? (I'm not saying that's my opinion because I haven't heard it yet)

Mainly because 'Can't Hold Us' peaked months ago and it's already peaked worldwide meaning there's a chance the UK might have either missed it as a single or else radio just aren't picking it up.

I'd love it to be performed on X-Factor. Beneath Your Beautiful effect would be great.

I still think there's the poss. they may be going for a Firework-style winter song mind + X Factor.

Zane Lowe's started playing it on his R1 show, so I think that's at least an indication that R1 have nothing against "Same Love". I say let "Can't Hold Us" keep going for another month or so, "Same Love" can/will be huge in Q4.
