Still grieving over Hello Goodbye being pushed into AC and then crashing out :(

It is so much better than the winner.

Well some of us are hoping for a BIT MORE than a SUBSTANDARD SONG!

I get the feeling she'd struggle even with a great song. Fansites make out that her long anticipated mystical MF appearance would save the contest and that she'd romp to victory but times have changed and she's nowhere as near relevant as she used to be. I think she'd be lucky if she made it to AC with a great song. The goodwill has faded and she missed her shot, not that she has anything to prove having already won Eurovision!

I think Helena would just do what Heartstrings did - only hyped up because of who she is not because of how amazing people say the song is (or perhaps both if the song WAS that amazing). There was so much buzz around Heartstrings doing something similar to Euphoria (though we all knew if it did it would be on a smaller scale) and although the song was great it was quite an outrage/shock to see it 5th in it's deltaving, especially behind two average and two crap songs. Amanda Fondell failing in that semi was a bit of a shock too and also was quite irritating.

Ha, that heat was quite hilarious looking back with Janet and Amanda failing while Ravaillacz (*.*) and State Of Drama (love, don't care what anyone else says) sailed through. Perhaps I shouldn't enjoy the outrage of nearly everyone else on here but I did. Strongest heat I can remember but the two that went through had to be the ones that everyone else was willing to fail. :D

If Melodifestivalen started to go down a route that emulated this year, which I did really like as a whole, better than 2012 if I'm honest, I would be totally fine with that. Add in a bit of decent schlager (none of this low-rent Swedish House Wives stuff) to counterbalance a bit of pop-rock and I'd be sehr happy.

Heat 2 would have to be the strongest in my opinion; Anton, Swedish House Wives, Erik/Tone, Louise and Sean all delivered very good songs in my opinion. Although I know most of you won't agree about Sean, I find him good fun.

There's still a good 10-12 songs I regularly listen to from this year's contest so it wasn't the total disappointment I thought it was at the time. 'Begging' and 'Rockin' The Ride' were particular highlights of mine.

Paying homage to the letter ö! :D
The only thing I hate about the Scandi selections is that they all clash. :( I think I enjoy (N)MGP more than Melodifestivalen because it's a lot more varied, but the latter is more *.* I guess. Nice to see Örnsköldsvik back in the mix though. That was Ola and Salem's deltävling in 2010, right? Hoping for good things this time!

Well either way we have EVENT TELEVISION awaiting us in heat 3 next year (and subsequently andra chansen)
OMG YES if Sanna is true (I don't know where you're getting this from) - although, I haven't liked most of her material, it's just that "I'm In Love" is in my top 10 songs of 2011.
Sanna <3 Every MF entry from her is a DIAMOND. Rob, please say you simply haven't yet heard the majestic 'Vågar du, vågar jag'?!
