I think I've chosen my entry! I narrowed seven potentials down to three, have sent one of those three to UP as it seems more suited to there and have been left with two amazing choices for LVIII. Now I just have to decide which one I'd rather send, unless somebody confirms one of them before me and then I'll just send the other one! Excitement, they both sound like certain qualifiers to me but then what do I know these days :lol:

At this rate I could do with about three contests a month! Got so many songs i wanna send :(

So on second thoughts, I've found a song that's EVEN BETTER than the one I wanted to send and is likely not at all risky, plus another one that's great, but will go down like a lead balloon. Definitely seems the most ripe month for new music in a while (well on the sources that I look at anyway)

 

I do hope that I've not stolen something someone has been 'sitting on' for a while, the artist may be familiar to a few of you.

Since they autoqualified I guess as I doubt that entry would've got through the semi process.

 

Hopefully my next entry can give me a third qualifier in a row but it seems unlikely.

i've got two entries that i'd be happy to send, the first is technically riskier in terms of getting past the veto framework and ALSO might be contested, but my back-up i'm pretty sure won't be touched by anyone else.

I've also found another entry I'd be totally happy to send, looks like I have a great backup/entry for LIX because there is no way anyone else will take it. Maybe I'll finally qualify two contests in a row this year (one can dream :()

Yeah, missing a contest shouldn't count towards your qualification streak, but it shouldn't be marked down as a DNQ either!

 

My recent run is 21-16-9, so pretty chart runs tell me I'm geared towards a very good placing this time. Although I haven't thought about exactly how I will achieve this.

We can't really measure non-consecutive runs against consecutive ones fairly though. Jake does have a streak of 10 but the ranking we're using here doesn't include that.
