John you may as well just post the entire show. It's 10 episodes of moments.

Seriously, there are more moments in first 5 minutes than How I Met Your Mother ever has had and ever will have.

I continually HOPE AND PRAY that Miriam Shor can bag herself another role worthy of her abilities.

87th ☆ Big Brother USA ☆ 120pts

July 5, 2000 - present on CBS

My favourite show on TV (if we look past the season which has just ended), the American version of Big Brother follows a completely different format to the British version you all know. No public vote, the houseguests fight for safety in competitions and vote to evict each other every week before the last few to be evicted form a jury and vote on the winner. There have been format tweaks over the years - the first season was very similar to the UK show, some seasons have had the houseguests playing in pairs and there have been plenty of returning houseguests including my favourite of all time, Rachel, who was such a fabulous hot mess during seasons 12 and 13.

86th ☆ The New Normal ☆ 121pts

(Favourite character: Rocky)

September 10, 2012 – April 2, 2013 on NBC

This short-lived comedy from Glee producer Ryan Murphy followed David and Bryan, a gay couple who look to a surrogate in order to have a baby. Other characters aside from David and Bryan included the surrogate Goldie, her Republican grandmother Jane who is deeply racist and homophobic but moves past this in the end, Goldie's daughter Shania who struggles to fit in with other kids her age, Shania's rather hot father who repairs his relationship with Goldie over the course of the season and Rocky, Bryan's fab personal assistant played by NeNe Leakes (just one of a few cast members borrowed from Glee). Dealing with many situations that everyone is faced with in the run up to having a baby (including breastfeeding to mention just one), it was a very heart-warming comedy and thankfully wrapped up well with the birth of the baby at the end of the season before NBC cancelled it due to poor ratings. :(

Where is there left to go??? With GCB they slayed all. I fail to see how any of them will ever top the sheer amazingness of this show.
I loved The New Normal! It got a bit stale but the second season could easily have continued on so it's a shame it wasn't renewed :(

I've seen the first 7 or so episodes of The New Normal, I really enjoyed it, such a lovely story, need to get round to watching the rest at some point. And omg NeNe Leakes

Big Brother USA should really be higher IMO, I enjoyed this last season a lot and it seems that was far from the best one...

I loved The New Normal! Sure it wasnt anything groundbreaking, but it was really a lovely story and NeNe Leakes was amazing in it as was the grandmother!.

BB USA, meh, overrated from the season I have seen. A bunch of racists and twats compete for money. Yeah, good one.

I may be shot for this, but Devious Maids screams 'Desperate Housewives season 1 rehashed, complete with murder mystery of one of their galpals, but a whole cast of Latino stereotypes rather than just one'.

And I ADORE Desperate Housewives, but not sure I could invest in this.

Shame so many of my favourites are so low, but I forgot to vote so :kink:

It basically is just Desperate Housewives season 1 all over again, yeah. :heehee: They have one of the maids killed, they have a character whom they try and make Devious Maids' answer to Felicia Tilman, and they have various cast members who were in Desperate Housewives (notably that arsehole Karl Mayer). But it really is different in its own way. They've taken various elements from DH itself, but they've made it its own show, and episode 12 will literally have you like "FUCK..." :(

90th ☆ Body of Proof ☆ 115pts

(Favourite character: Megan)

March 29, 2011 – May 28, 2013 on ABC

An UTTER TRAVESTY that this is so low. Sadly cancelled this season, Body Of Proof is the story of Dr. Megan Hunt. The worlds leading authority on everything, her day job as a medical examiner gives the show its premise but it's her utter single mindedness and arrogance that gives the show its soul. I do have a massive soft spot for her and her rubbish mother and even more rubbish daughter. PLUS it stars (starred) the ever lovely Jeri Ryan as her boss. To say that the show found a winning formula would be a lie, it was lucky to make it to S3, but it got halfway there. Virtually every episode followed a similar formula, 1) Megan arrives at crimescene, cue shot of her designer outfit and shoes, 2) Megan works out what happened to the victim in 3 seconds flat and proceeds to tell everyone as such, 3) upon examining the body Megan is proved wrong, or is she?, 4) an ''expert'' disagrees with Megan, 5) Megan then re-examines the body and is, lo and behold, correct and said expert is put in their place faster than you can yell BITCH. Then after the case is solved Megan goes home to worry about the faked suicide of her father, a plot device which was nicely finished up at the end of S3 just before cancellation.

85th ☆ The Big C ☆ 122pts

(Favourite character: Cathy)

 [71-85]

August 16, 2010 – May 20, 2013 on Showtime

The Big C stars the wonderful Laura Linney in the lead role (for which she recently won an Emmy for) as a teacher who gets diagnosed with melanoma. Cathy promptly begins living her life to the full and manages to find humour whilst suffering with the illness. The supporting cast who helped make this show so good included Hugh Dancy who played a fellow patient who became friends with Cathy in the second season, Cynthia Nixon who starred as a long-time friend of Cathy and starts a sexual relationship with her brother and Gabourey Sidibe who played a student in Cathy's class and later moves in with her whilst her parents went off to Africa. The first two seasons of this show were fantastic pieces of TV but the third did see a slight dip in quality. I have yet to finish the shortened fourth season so no spoilers please!!

84th ☆ The Amazing Race ☆ 124pts

September 5, 2001 – present on CBS

A reality show where teams of two (linked by some bond such as father/daughter, lifelong friends etc.) race around the world with the aim of being the first to cross the finish line of the final leg and win $1m. Teams have to navigate a variety of countries providing language barriers whilst completing physical and mental challenges in order to gain clues relating to the next destination. The team who finishes last at the end of each leg normally gets knocked out but each season features a couple of non-elimination legs. Season 23 began on Sunday in the states and appears to have gained a bit of a Buzzjack following recently. At the Emmy awards the show has won "Outstanding Reality-Competition Program" an impressive 9 times, beating out competition including American Idol, Survivor and Dancing With The Stars. I've lost interest in the show personally but everyone should be aware of it if only for the clip above!

83rd ☆ America's Next Top Model ☆ 128pts

http://i0.wp.com/allthingsd.com/files/2013/08/Tyra-Banks.gif

 [77-83]

May 20, 2003 – present on UPN and The CW

Another reality show, this one is presented by the one and only Tyra Banks who goes in search...of the next top model, with the winner gaining the opportunity to start a career in the modelling industry. A variety of judges have sat next to Tyra over the past decade, awarding marks that aren't quite in line with the feedback. Kelly Cutrone and the beautiful Rob Evans currently sit on the panel but Janice Dickinson was part of the original panel all those years ago. The current 20th season became the first to feature men alongside women, a decision which I very much approve of!! (despite the remaining girls being stronger)

All 3 absolutely f***ing amazing shows.

The Big C   Jahq you should just stop what you're doing and WATCH SEASON 4. :D

Also ANTM is (L)

Yeah, season 4 was amazing and I love how they wrapped everything up there.

If you watch only one show on TV, you should make this it. Kerry Washington plays Olivia Pope, a fixer. She fixes things. There are so many fantastic characters. Olivia is a queen. First lady Mellie is a queen. The rest of Olivia's team is pretty fabulous. The first season, just seven episodes long, has a story arc that follows Amanda Tanner, a woman who claims to have been involved in an affair with the president. Although excellent from the start, the ratings didn't explode until a few episodes into season 2 following the start of a "Who shot the president?" arc combined with a vote rigging scandal and the promo campaign that came with it. Scandal is now ABC's #1 drama, hitting new highs and setting twitter (a main factor of how it became so popular) abuzz every Thursday night. The quality remains top notch (on a par with The Good Wife) as the arcs last a maximum of 13 episodes, keeping the story-telling extremely tight with no filler. The show also makes very good use of flashbacks to fill in the extra details and give us a glimpse into the backstory of every character, all of which are fleshed out very well.
