Incidentally though surely Jáhq and Oricon, being personal chart mods and all, should have realised it was coming for the Multichart? It's not exactly using recent, still updating data, the current Multichart covers *last* week.

Yes you are correct. I wasn't 100% hopeful but given I confirmed it Sunday and hadn't heard by the deadline I assumed it was fine as it's not a new enough song to have had any sudden surge in popularity or to have randomly appeared on one of the big blogs. If it wasn't for the 15 place climb in my own personal chart it wouldn't even have made the Multichart.

Even if it was using last week's charts, the Multichart was only published yesterday and before then we also had no idea it even entered it (as Rob was the one who compiled the chart this week).

That's not what I said - you know how the Multichart is compiled, surely it should have raised an alarm of some sort that it was in enough charts to be a Multichart contender?

Surely if you typed the name of the song under the search bar and seen it in 7 charts we could have avoided this fiasco instead of waiting on the mutlicharts! FLOP.

When actually researching on the track, I only stumbled across three charts charting Elevate and it wasn't until the Multichart was up, that I realized a grand total of 7 featured the song in it. It's my fault I do agree as I was responsible for the research on each and every individual track this month. :drama:
