This is FANTASTIC! :o The whole song is superb, but my favourite part is 'and it's crushing me, there's no room to breathe'... :wub: I think this will definitely be another number one for her!

I turned it off before the end, was just getting on my nerves.

Not sure whether it's a turn in music direction that'll be appreciated by the public. Love the production, not a big fan of the auto-tune, would've rather been able to identify the vocals as Alexandra's, it's not like she can't sing. Hopefully a big #1 on her hands come March though, if 'We Found Love' could be huge, then so can this!

 

I just wonder how well it'll sell, 'Start Without You' didn't do too well - but it's a different class of song.

Yeah, this is correct. I want Alex to be number 1, and I'll be sure to buy it. I just hope it will grow on me. :)

TBH, I do prefer the remix at this moment in time - it makes better use of what sounded SO powerful in the 'I CAN'T RELAX!' bit..

it doesn't really sound like her, FAR too much autotune, that said, I do really like the instrumental to this, but I'm not so keen on the vocal sections atm

Oh it's really quite SHIT I'm afraid. The instrumental (if you could even CALL it that) is just so so bad, it's literally everything I hated about chart music in 2011 (and now 2012). There's an ok melody in there ruined by ludicrous amounts of autotune. All in all, a mess.

I'm slightly underwhelmed by this generic sound. Of course, I was never expecting Alex to come back with some mind-blowing original material but I did expect more than this. I really need to hear it in HQ to form more of an opinion.

I like the song and I probably will end up adoring it, but I agree with others that her voice is too good to resort to this. She doesn't sound a whole different to Natalia Kills' ridiculous squeaked-up vocals on 'Champagne Showers' at parts. It does all sound a little like a random vocalist on one of those obscure dance numbers (but then I thought that about 'All Fired Up', which I now love.)
