Weekend effect making Tom Odell fall it seems, hope it can resume climbing this week and make the top 40 next Sunday, or the Sunday after when the EP will be out.

100. Can't Stop Me Now - Rod Stewart

Rod coming for yo faves' wigs after that SCD performance.

Would be interesting to see where it charts on sales from everywhere except iTunes, though...

Low T200, probably. That's what seemed to happen to 'We Are Young' etc. Assuming of course that it's not taken off other sites at some point during the week.

I'm pretty sure 'We Are Young' wasn't top 200 at all before it was added to iTunes. It was mentioned one week in the Music Week report about how all the fake versions were outselling it by miles despite the fact the real version is available, just not on iTunes.

I think you could be right about Fun. actually, but I'm assuming Eminem would do a bit better than that anyway because he's a "name" act with a big fanbase.

Mind you, he's only at 74 on the Amazon chart so far.

It's a shame 'Don't You Worry Child' has received a huge boost out of all the songs performed on XF. :( I find it really overrated.

158. Rudimental - Right Here (feat. Foxes)

Wasn't this in the top 40 like a week ago? It's strange for a post-album single to get top 20 and spend such little time in the charts. The ones that get top 20 usually chart for a lot longer. This really must have been living off Radio 1's airplay.

Has Alex gaudino and Nicole been moved? I can't find it on iTunes anymore. It was there for preorder last week?

Also it was a shit single choice when they have 'Powerless'.

All these stop start releases are annoying me ESP the eminem one holding it back until mid October is a joke this week would have seen it go top 10 and then the airplay would have followed and kept it there for a while selling decently each week and hanging around for longer!!

Seems rather low - if you assume it would sell 50k in total for the week, and that iTunes comprises say 70% of the market, than that should still leave 15k from other sources - enough for #20-ish...

Taylor Swift's '22' was another one. It rocketed to #9 and then fell just as fast as it climbed.

Not sure, but again it is available on Amazon

It will be interesting to see what sort of market share amazon mp3 have with eminems track!

And that assumes that Amazon and iTunes sales are statistically independent - as Manic says, some people might go to Amazon (or 7Digital or elsewhere) because they can't get the track where they normally would but conversely people might think from the fact that it's not on iTunes that it's not available anywhere. So far the latter tendency seems to be winning.

Of course you can't really compute market share from one item anyway.
