Katy  14

So glad she's doing so well this era already

Birdy at 16

Never expected her to come close to the top 20!

How long before someone covers it on XF... :)

14 Katy Perry - Dark Horse (feat. Juicy J)

15 Lady Gaga - Applause

:kink:

Joke aside, it's weird that "Applause" only seems to get some longevity in the US. This is one of the only countries where she's still top10 (with Canada and a few minor countries).

Now #14.

I have no idea who Juicy J is, but please don't let him/her be a rapper...

Yes unfortunately he is. He was featured on one of the numerous versions of Kesha's "Crazy Kids" back in the summer.

But not on the album version, as I don't see him credited there?

No, will.i.am was on the "main" version, other versions replacing the oddly punctuated one with either Juicy J or Pitbull were available.
I hope Macklemore gets an XF slot and performs 'Same Love'. Deserves a better peak than #9 (but it's still exceeded my expectations anyway )

Hopefully Bon Iver or Cherry Ghost cover it and get a massive #1 hit with it, at the expense of her version which drops rapidly down the chart. :)

I get the Bon Iver reference, but who are 'Cherry Ghost'?

See. This is what makes me sad. :( Poor FORGOTTEN Cherry Ghost.

They ORIGINALLY sang "People Help The People", before Birdy murdered it.

I was afraid of that. :(

Though his part is small and he's not in it for long. He actually adds something, too, compared to the usual rent-a-rapper verse about cars, etc.

It was almost like a buzz single to get people back on the GaGa express ... I wouldn't worry about Applause, it's all about the album this time.

Re: The Vamps

No one gives a shit about how young they look, they've probably been shaving before most of you. I personally couldn't care about their new song either.

If they do look like embryos, I really doubt it. I also read that sentence really quick so read, been shaved. I was like, by who???

No.148. Mutya Keisha Siobhan - Flopline

I thought that it would be a successful comeback for them..Heidi's curse.. :P

This is how well they used to do in general with the original line-up anyway.

Someone needs to do research in to whether capitalizing the artists and the name of the single leads to a boost in sales due to it being more eye-catching, and if so to what extent. The results of said would be like gold dust to PRs and record labels.

But then we'd end p with a chart full of ADELEs, with everyone capitalising everything, cancelling out any and al benefit of capitalising :P

This is how well they used to do in general with the original line-up anyway.

Haha very true  I suppose Freedom makes Flatline look huge.

 12. Katy Perry - Dark Horse (feat. Juicy J)

 29. LINKIN PARK & Steve Aoki - A LIGHT THAT NEVER COMES

 52. Kanye West - Bound 2

 140. J Cole - Crooked Smile (feat. TLC) - how is this not HUGE!?

No.36 Kings of Leon - Wait For Me

It deserves to wait for bands like them..

No.44 Daughtry - Waiting For Superman

They need Superman for having a Top 10 hit.. :P I like their new song

No.51 Demi Lovato - Skyscraper

Unfortunately, it will not in the Top 40 on Sunday..Can Simon use it on Saturday again???

No.97 Ylvis - The Fox

Evil

That's a shame :(

She should re-release it, complete with X Factor performance here I think.

It has plenty of legs left, its not even reached its airplay peak on radio 1 yet!

 10. Klangkarussell ft Will Heard- Sonnentanz (Sun Don't Shine)

 11. Christina Perri- A Thousand Years

Edited by Mack
