I'm sure it was, it was in rotation on the music channels and a digital remix EP. Got to #115 either way, and didn't re-peak with her death either! Definitely should've made the top 40, it's hardly I Have Nothing or One Moment In Time or I Wanna Dance With Somebody but still.

Yes it was, and it peaked at #115 according to wikipedia. And I didn't realise it was as recent as 2009. That probably explains why it didn't go top 40.

Well 'Million Dollar Bill' didn't do too badly and that was also released in 2009 :P I don't remember 'I Look To You' being released as a single but then Whitney is hardly someone I'd want to pay attention to, I like about 2 of her songs and the rest are all dreadful.

I think Million Dollar Bill was a lot more commercial, and it was helped by The X Factor but even without it I think it got to something like #13 beforehand which was in itself pretty good!

'I Look To You' has been released as a single twice in the UK - The first time in 2009 when it missed the Top 100 and last year when it was issued as a duet with R Kelly and again missed the Top 100. Love the song and hope it will finally be a hit - It's already #119 on iTunes.

When MW listed it I wondered if it was going to be the instant grat track when the album was put up for pre-order on iTunes but I'm not even sure that that's happening this week now

 

So I suspect that it won't be released this week (unless MasterJon knows differently)
